Hi,

I just have a question regarding the wage for FSW for Express Entry.

I know for CEC we need to have a median wage according to the Canadian wage table for your profession.

But what about the experience that a person has from abroad? for the FSW? is it also needs to be median wage comparing to the general wage of the same occupation as in Canada?

Thank you all.

*comparing to the general wage of the same occupation as in the Country of that work experience.
It is not a requirement though. It is just for not raising any doubts about the legitimacy of the work.
ok, thank you!

Hello Talhu,

I just read your post here and wanted to ask you how things going with you.
I have a similar situation that I have oversea working experience that I want to add it my EE profile.
Job responsibilities and education requirements are fine to fit in Administrative Assistant (NOC 1241) but my wage I had during the period of my employment is lower than the average of the same occupation in Canada. (In general, the minimum wage ($7.5) in my home country is lower than Canada)

If you can share your experience, it would be appreciated. Thank you!

I didn’t submit anything yet. But from what I read the salary from outside of Canada is not that strict as in CEC. It can be lower, just not that much lower…
