So to apply under FSW you need to have 1 year of work experience. What if this experience is a co-op from a Canadian company ? Will that work?

yes, you need 1 yr to apply under FSW
no, co-op is not the part of that 1 yr exp.

Try to check you points under EE . That is all what matters.

IF you receive an invitation to apply, CIC will tell you which program you can apply to.

You cannot apply for EE before June. Because do not satisfy either category's conditions, or atleast CEC's. So do not apply before June, otherwise you will definitely not be selected. Co-Op is not counted as work experience.
