Hi everyone,

I am planning to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency under the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program, specifically targeting the French-language proficiency category.

I have a couple of questions regarding the language requirements:

  1. French as First Language: Can I apply using only my TCF Canada results and designate French as my primary official language?
  2. English Requirement: Is it compulsory to take the IELTS (or CELPIP) for an English score if I already meet the eligibility criteria through French? Or can I enter the Express Entry pool with only my French scores?

So you are submitting a profile, not applying for PR because not invited yet.
1. Yes meeting NCLC 7 in all sections.
2. You need to meet English requirements for EE with CLB 7 in all sections.

So you need ECA, work experience, funds and English and French test results
