yesterday i met a freind of mine who applied to VO on march 2010, they sent her a mail two weeks ago requesting fresh police certificate and proof of funds??
she wonders what is that? and what she shall expect afterwards and when?
also as she is a femaleshe is afarid that the medical examination may incldue some exposure, any one knowes anything about that?
any help?

Congratulations to your friend this is a good sign. The next step will be medicals ISA.

The general impression is that the office is currently requesting these documents from those who applied in the last quarter of 2009.

However, in her case it's kinda early that they ask for these updates now, because the norm is that these documents are being requested 2 or 3 months before the medical request.

But there are always exceptions... Another guy who submitted his full documents to the visa office in FEB2010 was also requested yesterday to provide the ssame documents

Could you please advise on her NOC ?

thanks for your quick response, i'm not sure about her NOC but her work got something to do with taxes for international shipping, i think but not sure it is the good old frined NOC 1111 ,again not sure.
what about the the nudity exposure during medical any idea??

as per some other forums, it happened to lots of applicants in the past week,
no body can tell you excatly what to expect and when?
the ranges are either medical of interview.... (that is to answer what)
and 1 to 6 months (to answer when)
i know not much of a help but that is what we got so far.

My husband needs to get all his paper worked translated, my quesiton is when he gets it translated and they give him the affidavit, is that all that needs to be done? or does he still have to go some where to get it certified and/or noterized? from my understanding where he gets it translated, the affidavit is the certification that it is a true document and that is it? can some one please help me understand.
