hi Mikomi! Im not sure if they're done with background check, some says they still check even w/ MR stage. What I know about the "In process" stage is that they are done reviewing all the documents we sent and are now eligible for processing...

When you receive your passprt request maybe that's the time you can say theyre done with background check

Received 1st AOR - 25 May 2010
Submitted my Full docs to VO - 19 August 2010
Received 2nd AOR - 26 August 2010
Visa Office - Manila Philippines

Since then (26th Aug) No reply receive from Embassy. Ecas is still Received by Visa Office

hey wackyb2k4, I'm not a senior but I got my MR from the agency. I think it will be delivered to the address in shown in the ecas status. It has forms to be given to the DMP for them to fill up and send to CEM. Packaged with the MR is the invitation of CIIP seminar. This is my case. I hope you get yours soon.
I think we're the last batch of 0213's .. ::)

im a bit worried about my papers. the only hope im holding on rightnow is the confirmation of the back that the manager's check i issued for the payment of my family members were already encashed by the VO.

How long shall we wait then? my NOC is 1111 what's yours?

Hello to all, count me in.

I applied as Federal Skilled Worker with NOC # 3113 last October 28, 2010 and it was received by CIO in Sydney NS November 3, 2010. Married with 3 children ages 18, 13 and 11. Although this is very premature to ask about the response, I would just like to have peace of mind while waiting.

Instead of writing Manila, Philippines in the question Visa Office requested for the process of your application I answered the whole address which is Canadian Embassy, Visa Section..... RCBC Plaza Tower 2, 6th Floor 6819 Ayala Avenue Salcedo Village, Makati City. But the Canadian Embassy, Visa Section was only reflected in the box

I missed sending the 2 self addressed mailing labels. Does my application affect the processing??? Will I receive an electronic file number through email whether my application will be put into processing or denied?

CIO received November 3, 2010
No communication yet

Just to share my experience, the 2 self addressed stickers I placed in my application wasn't even used.
I received my response via email.

Although my application was filed before June 26..... dunno if that matters.
