sge add pa po ntin for the amazing race to Canada.........nice to see....especially to hear one by one saying "I received my DM, VISA" up to the last person in line.....may God give us the graces we are expecting....
 
Anyone of you who knows anything regarding the cutoff date of accepting new applicants and when will they resume again in accepting applications? I was at the bank this morning and I met somebody who will also apply to canada. She informed me that the cutoff date is december 23 and they will resume again on June 2011? Are we affected with this schedule? What if we dont get our visas next week? Maghihintay tayo na magresume sile sa June 2011?

hi rene, we were informed that visa issuance is 90 days maximum (3 months max).. so dont worry, we will not be affected if ever this schedule is true. Let's just hope that our visas will be issued next week.. kung hindi, sa January na pagbalik nila sa Manila VO.In the meantime apply apply na muna online, baka makasungkit tayo ng employer agad.. ;D

tama ka carlnoweast maximum of 90 days and hopefully sana nga mapaaga ang dating ng mga visa natin. Medyo walang balita last week but i hope this week mayroon ng balita. Let's pray na sana bago magbakasyon ang mga v.o. natin maibalik na sa atin yung mga passport with visa natin.

Anyway, whether may update or wala it should be happy week for us kasi magpapasko na! hehe

i am still waiting for feedback from manila embassy. no med request yet, but looking forward to receiving it soon.
sa mga waiting pa din for med rqst, ppr, visas, etc. - all we can do now is be more patient and trust God that everything will be alright.

@mks0308 you are right whether we may or not receive any update we should be happy and thankful for Christmas is coming this week, we should not forget the meaning of this coming holiday in our lives but be very thankful to God and Jesus that we had reached enough up to this moment what we have and be grateful for a better early 2011 for all who are waiting....MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR also to all the forum friends and have a wonderful holiday with your families.....

hi pls count me in guys..i'm under FSW1-0631 also. submitted to Manila VO my full docs on dec. 10/10..i know this is just very recent but i want to keep track of the way things are going, because i have read some cases in this forum that it took only 2 days for them to wait for the AOR from the VO..Godspeed guys!

hi EGo2canada..i'm also under FSW1-0631. nice to know that we have the same NOC.i sent my full docs to MNL VO on dec. 10/10 & until now no AOR yet! you see, i'm a worry wart, so i'm strating to get worried a little bit..goodluck to us..how's it going for you now? at what stage?

We are on a different timetable/immigration laws with the post-June 2010 applicants. The person you talked to might be in his/her first stage of applying to CIO sydney where there were cutoffs since the number of applicants have been stopped since the quotas are met.

I think this is not related to visa issuances. Also visa issuances, if there are any quotas per VO is annually ending in december 31 and not during June. So if theres such a visa quota this year, they will issue by january 2011.
