Hi All,
I have applied under FSW program and my application was received by CIC by the end of Apr'2011. When I check my status in Ecas, it says that my application is received and a letter has been mailed to my address which I haven't received so far it has been more than four months since that update on Ecas. However, the date of update where it says that a letter has been sent to me, on the same date I received an email describing that my application has been accepted and so forth. So, I believe that the letter that is mentioned in Ecas should have same containts as in email, is my understanding correct or is it a good idea to send an email {what is the CIC's email address to ask these questions, the email just has a physical address but no email} or mail saying I never got the letter?

Another question I had was, I am three months pregnant now. Should I wait till I receive a medical request or inform CIC right way with respect to my pregnancy because I wouldn't be able to proceed with it if I receive medical request.

I really appreciate if someone could shed light on these questions and thanks a lot for help in advance.

Regards,
Kisha..

Hi Kishasp,

You did not say which is your visa processing office. The processing time is different according to visa office.

The letter what you mentioned may be AOR as you have seen on ECAS that your application is received. At this early stage there is no use of mailing to your visa office. if everything goes well with your application, there is a possibility that you could get medical request before your delivery and an X-Ray may not be possible due to your pregnancy. At that time you can request the visa office to delay your medical because you are pregnant.

No letter is received for PER. SO that is OK. Email should suffice, I think none of us received Letter for PER.

As for pregnancy, no need to inform anyone, as medicals request will be issued on its time. If it comes before delivery of the baby, you should inform VO and if it is after (offcourse you will need to update baby as well with VO), then you will have to get all your family members (baby included) medical tests done.

There is no option for Meds to be done early with FSW.

Thanks a lot Wilson and devilhimselff. At this point in time, I will just wait and update them if I get any communication in regards to Medical request.

My visa processing office is Sydney, NS. Anyone knows what are timeline for this visa centers?

regards,
Kisha
