Hi I have a question regarding travel info update.to CIC. When I applied to FSW my travel info was nilIn't go abroad at that time. I got PER last mnth. This month I travel outside of my country fr d first time. Should I need to inform CIC or Visa office about my abroad tour? Should I send them d xerox copy of my passport?

you can wait till your visa office will contact you or raise CSE to your visa office informing them of the trip

when was your application submitted? If your MR come before October, it might be difficult to include her. You can make changes during MR stages after MR it might be difficult. Share your timeline and VO so that we can advise you better

Based on your VO you might get MR and passport request before October, can you move your marriage to somewhere around May or June. Even if it is for both of you to do court wedding so that you can include her with the marriage certificate. The process of bringing in spouse latter is a very tedious one.

Oh.. we actually made preparations for wedding in Oct. Looks like now i've to push everything forward.

Actually my spouse-to-be has also applied under Single applicant. His application reached CIC on 4th Dec. However his fee hasn't been encashed yet, so i'm also not sure what's going on there. Supposedly his application goes through successfully, do we still have to get married in May/June before MR and passport request?

Since she also applied in Dec wait and see when she will recieve her PER, if she does you can go ahead with your October plan, but if otherwise then bring the marriage forward. Wish you all the best

Hi minasoliman
AOR is the "Acknowledgement of Received" email sent to u by the visa office after they receive your application package at the local visa office.
The further assessment is done normally after the AOR.
Some visa offices send AOR; some visa offices directly send the MR and etc.
The time between PER and AOR is highly depend on the local gisa office.

On CIC website the processing time of applicant before January 2015 for London office is 34 weeks. where as on this forum many people claiming that after PER it will take 6 to 7 month to fly. Plz if any one can explain?

I have seen several people getting AOR after PER ; what if I do not receive AOR. Does it mean that my processing has stopped ? I received PER on 04-Feb-2015 and my application was received by CIC on 13-Nov-2014.

Also, can someone explain the background checks process ? I have worked with 4 employers in a period of 8 years in India, with 1 employer in Ghana for 4 years and then with 3 employers in the US in a period of 5+ years. Currently I am working in India. All these years, I have worked in the same field of telecom engg. So does it mean that more countries you visited and worked for more employers means my application will take more time ?

If PER is received then does it mean that in next 6-8 months, I will get my visa ? Is there anyway to expedite my application ? Like in the US, they have normal processing and another is premium processing. Waiting is really killing...

Not all VO send AOR, For the background check the more the places you live , the more complex is your application as they will need to carry out background check in all places you live. There is no such thing as premium processing for FSW, it is on first submission basis

Any Real Update/News regarding NOC 1111??? Beyond the fake images or stories??? Or any direct victim by whom got returned application due to Cap reached?
