Guys, My application reached Nova Scotia on 14th November 2014. Any idea, if the application check would have been completed or approximately by when would I get an update from CIC ?

Latest PER: 17 October
Total CIC App: 16,109 out of 25,000
Number towards 1000 capping target = 11,544
Number of pending applications = 4,565

i mean that all of us who have given their credit card details should ask their bank cards division to allow CIC deduct Can$ 550 or can$1100 whatever the fees is..
If bank will not allow deduction, it may result in rejection of file..

check with banker for international transaction limit on your credit card. usually it's 10% of card limit. enhance it accordingly by calling bank Customer Care.

hi i checked with my cc issuer (Standard Chartered), they said the transaction will be processed if the amount charged is under credit limit. Normally they will call and confirm transaction. They said there is no need to inform them about the card charge as the charge is offline and not online or a physical card swipe.

Guys, going by an average of 3k applications per month, and discounting Oct/Nov/Dec applications in the latest CIC update, don't you think that December application might be in jeopardy with regards to the overall cap of 25k. No one seems to be talking about that.

Will a 31st Dec file fall under the 25k cap?
