I submitted my application November 6, 2014. It reached Nova Scotia and received November 12, 2014. My NOC is 3012. I came to see at the cic site that 3012 reached its cap last December 11, 2014. MY QUESTION IS WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THAT I AM INCLUDED IN THE 3012 CAP GIVEN THE DATE THEY RECEIVED MY PAPERS WHICH WAS NOVEMBER 12, 2014.

Hey there!

As far as I know, an application is included in a particular cap when it is checked for completeness, minimum points and cc or dd is charged. So if the cap is full and your application is not charged then I think(But I'm not 100 percent sure) that your app is not included. But you never know how CIC works! So please keep your hopes alive.

1. generic form is updated and this Q-4 is removed now.

2. i READ a case shared by someone, same mistake.
was overlooked as not a major one.
so stay COOL n CALM.

When the Generic Form was updated?
My application was received in November 13, however the Generic Form I filled did mention the Visa Office,

Please advise when the Generic form was updated, I can assure that I used the latest one, and Is there an issue If I sent the Old Generic Form,

Did you application mentioned the Visa office? i.e Did you use the Generic Form (IMM0008) for November update?

Yes, I did, actually I used the same old form, as that time it wasn't changed I guess. Additionally, I obtained services of a registered consultant who also didn't object.

Good to see the coordination of efforts by the forum members. My application was received at CIC Sydney nova Scotia on Nov 25th in 3111 category. A week ago we had newborn baby. Does anyone know the procedure to add the baby to the application?
