Hey!

Just came back from the Canadian Consulate in Sao Paulo... Passports and Visa on hand!!

I know that SPVO is very fast and we in Brazil can´t complain at all of their speed, but these 166 days since the receipt in Sydney until today were filled with anxiety! Every single step of the way... now this stage is over and speed up the landing and moving plans...

Once again, to all in this forum, this is a great place to learn about the process and also to see how we are not alone in the boat of trying to accomplish a dream, a plan... congrats once again to you all for making it a very positive place for all of us on the wait or even for those who are only planning still... keep up the spirit, mutual support and the energy!!

Hi,I was thinking of applying for PCC. Is PCC needed only for the principal applicant only or do all the Dependants over 18 and the spouse need PCC as well ? Can someone pls help? If yes, do they have to get PCC from all countries they lived in since age 18? Does it include FBI check for Dependants and spouse as well?

PCC is for principal applicant and spouse, but if your child is over 18 he or she also need PCC. If you have also stayed in any country more than 6 months you also need PCC from that country

I am so disappointed so far. Have not received any PER nor NER, are you sure it comes through email?? OR it comes through postal service, cause postal service in Pakistan is not good.

Please guide and advise.

some Nov from Kingston VO got MR and even passport request

Dont count Kingston, Sau Paulo.. kind of VO for even the discussion on this forum, because by the time we would start discussion about them , they would be laughing with maple leaf visa on their passport..

although I had seen someone from NDVO, case transferred to Warsaw whose application was from Mid nov and got MR..!!

Did u applied urself or through consultant? If consultant it will be his email id where the per will land. If urs u need to check whether u provided right email id or not nd u shud have checked ur spam/junk emails as well. Try contacting cic by phone or drop them an email

They normally send PER or NER through email, except if your email is not going through, then they psot it to your address.
Try and call CIC to know status of your application. +16139444000

See their email above but note that it takes averagely 60day for them to respond. Keep calling them you will get through to an agent

Hi few months back i faced the same issue. call them around 6 30 pm indian Standard time, rush will be less at that time.
Also my call went thrugh after atleast 7 trials.

moreover my call never connected say after 9 pm ist it always says operators busy , tried number of times
