Hello Everyone,

I am from Pune, thanks Rahul for creating this thread.

I sent my application documents by UPS which was received by Mike (Sydney, NS at CIO - Intake Office) on 3rd Nov 2014.

My NOC is 2173.

Its been more than 130 days now since my application was received at CIO but not a single update received so far. Not even my CC has been charged. Is there any way i can ask them about the status of the same?

Seniors, please advice.

PER mail :- feb 4 2015

I recieved a E-mail from colombo visa office subjected 'Acknowledgement Letter' on 16 march 2015.(iam from india)

1) Should i consider this E-mail from colombo as AOR or will i get a physical mail

2) As i said i got PER mail on feb 4 , around what date will i get a medicals request.

Please answer me , thanks in advance.

your file has been transfer to Colombo VO. The email is AOR

Yes, November applicants receiving MR. i received request March 16th. Two emails, one for myself and the other for my husband. Right after MR I also received RPRF.

Congrats madam! The VO in your country is the super runner, much faster than anyone else.

Application Received - December 05, 2014

PER Received - February 24, 2015

I called CIC some days back and they informed me that my file files has been transferred to Warsaw Visa Office.

I have a few queries, if some one could please reply.

1) When can i expect AOR email ?

2) Passport of my child was due to be expired on December 2015, however i have renewed the passport now. when should i inform CIC about this new passport?

3) When will processing of my application start by Warsaw VO (Background, Employment verification etc) ?

Pls find below my timelines:
1) Application reaching date at cic :5th Nov 2014
2) CC charged date: 15th Jan2015
3) PER date : 2nd Feb 2015
4) AOR from Colombo VO: 16th March 2015
5) Original VO office :NDVO
6) NOC category :2133

Guys , just want to know how much time it takes for getting MR from AOR through Colombo VO. Also, my passport will expire in Jan 2016.Kindly advise if I should get it renewed now or should I wait for this whole PR process to finish.

I tried to call cic and fortunately the operator was very kind. He gave me this information that my file is transferred to LVO

Hi Seniors/All - I received an AOR from Warsaw office on Mar19th and I am a Nov 26th'14 applicant. I had a question regarding PCC.

I have had visited UK and US for multiple times on a business visa but never for a continued period of 6 months. The max tenor has been around 4 months at a stretch for any of these countries but if i were to add all my visits then the tenor with both the countries individually will be above 1 year so do i need to request for a PCC from both the countries or not; kindly help with your expert opinion. thanks

CC Charged on 6th January and PER received on 29th January,
So my file will also be transferred to LVO on same date as your and they have started background checks and security. Please reply and guide me?

Congrats for receiving AOR
If ur stay exceeds 6 months at a stretch u need to get PCC which isn't in ur case. So relax

Your file may also had transferred on the same day when my file transferred. As there is no AOR from LVO so very though to say that if they had started background, and security checks. It may be or may be still in que to get assigned the visa officer.
