Lets start a new & important thread for all Mechanical Engineers who applied in FSW 2014 program. Knowing the fact that CIC CAPS update is no more available on website, this new thread would be really helpful for all of us especially friends who applied in Oct, Nov & Dec, 2014. By updating statuses over here would really be beneficial for all of us.
So, I would request all mechanical engineers, NOC 2132 to join here and start sharing necessary updates for onward tracking.

due to non-availability of status updates from friends, we cant even trace any friend who was charged in Oct, 2014 (application received month). we r totally blind right now.

do we have friends charged in the past few days whose applications were received in Oct, 2014 in NO 2132 ??? if so, kindly share on this forum.

Last week one member mentioned that his friend in NOC2132. with application received 13. 10 got charged. I am not sure if it's correct or fake. But i read it myself

That person who said about 13 oct. was me. it was wrong, and the correct date is 3rd oct. it is related to one girl from Iran who I know her. she could't add her name on ss.

I do agree with u on the point that CIC is working to bring the lagging and unpopular (cold NOCs) to the level where hot NOCs like ours stand. This is something logical. .

If you're following the 2014 thread you will find many applicant for hot NOCs are reporting also no movement like 4011 and 1123. That what I observed. If can other members observe and put thier notation here. It would be better

I checked the SS for noc 1111,1123,2132 and 4011. Found that last charging was in December (some of them more than 1 month not moving) for applications received end of September.

Hello friends, I'd like to put a note to encourage everybody, we have always been reading many strategies for settling and succeeding in Canada, many will definitely say that getting a job prior to landing is impossible and many others will say that we need to plan for a survival job since getting a job in our noc is very difficult, I strongly disagree with that, we need to start working since the minute we applied to increase our chance for success, reviewing our resumes, tailoring to the Canadian expectations, review skills needed in different regions, etc, in my case even though I'm still waiting for medicals, I have been able to secure a job offer in my noc (2132) valid for 2015 and tied to me completing the PR process successfully.

Yes I had to shoot for a lower than my current position, yes I had to aim for an average pay for the region (according to the figures in the job bank), but at the end I believe is better than arriving and start spending our savings, or doing survival jobs.

Please, focus on your goals and put every effort to achieve it, if it means reviewing 50 job openings every night to review skill need trends, if it means to write a 1000 different resumes tailored to every possible opportunity ahead, if it means to sleep much less hours everyday compared with what you were used to, so be it, at the end the reward is to increase the chances to succeed!

I don't know if GOD will allow me to complete the PR process, I'm still in the middle of the road as many of you, but I do know that I will do my best to not fail for not putting my best every minute, every hour every day to pursue my dream.

Please understand that I'll not give neither personal details, or the company details, but if this words I humbly write helps another person to reach their dream, I'll be more than served.

what certifications can we Mechanical Engineers plan before and also after reaching Canada, which will improve our job prospects.

Presume certifications done in Canada matte more, can anyone list them here.

Was reading someones post.. that he secured a job thru thorough search even before his PR.

I read that Oct 4th application got charged on Jan 14th from Chinese forum.
