I got a couple of calls from an automated voice system from CIC on my land line. Its a automated IVR and prompt to press 1 for candidate assessment. First time, it was on last Wednesday while I was out from home and wife answered. After some minutes of waiting it reached an agent. She asked about the NOC, file number etc. My wife was not clear about all those and told them to call back on Thursday.

No calls on Thursday and today on Friday I got a call. I was placed in the queue for 3 minutes and the call got disconnected.

Just curious to know any one has got the same experience.

I applied under NOC 2171 and the file reached on Sept 29

I have not seen any update for NOC 2172 but in another thread mhussein has confirmed that his spouse CC charged for NOC 0111 and app received date was 9th Dec 2014.

It wasnt my spouse who got CC Charged, it was forum member zaraman's wife as per quote below:

My DD was encashed .... Nov 28 applicant ... NOC 2172 ... I knew from my bank ....it seems it was encashed few days ago
Is there anywhere (online website) that can track my status now ? or CIC is not entering any data until after PER e-mail ?

I think you should contact your bank at first to know the reason why CC blocked. If CIC had any concern about your non-original IELTS report, they wouldn't make any charge. If they did, then your IELTS copy is not an issue.

One applicant in this forum,kashbaig,quoted he has sent 2 applications under 2281 & 2172.I read his posts on this forum and noticed that he has also sent under 2171.OH MY GOD. I don't think i have any chances with these applicants.

There is no option to check the count now. I have data from 18th Dec 2014 published by CIC. Which NOC you are looking for?

FSW 2014 - 2173 Application return

Dear All,

My application reached at CIC on 20th October for 2173. But still didn't get my application back.

When can I expect it return back due to cap filled? Anybody have any idea?.

Also, I have send Demand Draft , which will expire in March? what is the process to encash my DD.
