Hello All,

I am planning to submit my application.

Could any body suggest the following:

1. Is WES the fastest way to get evaluation done?
2. What is the best/fastest way to send transcripts from India to Canada for evaluation?
3. For the evaluation, I will send transcript, degree copy (not attested), marriage certificate (due to name change). DO I need to send anything else?
4. I do not have Birth Certificate from India. Is there any other document that I can submit instead?

Please advise.

If you send your credentials for WES now then you can get it done by late by late 15th Aug. Try to send your file before end of Aug and you will have good chances to be a part of gorgeous 1000.

I had given IELTS in Sep.2013 and had got more than good score. I sent the original IELTS score card to Quebec immigration program. Now that I want to apply for FSW as well, I do not have the original IELTS scorecard with me. Any help on how to get another copy of the original IELTS scorecard?

I am about to send my application around August 1, which would probably reach the CIC office by August 6. I have few doubts in my mind. Which I want to clear before I send the application. Here they are -
1. Would the cap for NOC (2174 -- Computer programmers) be available by that time (August 6)?
2. For work experience (Roles and Responsibilities), I am sending self declaration affidavit. Would that work or I MUST get reference letter?
PS: I am sending all my offer-letters, relieving letters, salary slips and other documents provided by a companies.

Please help me with that. I want to make sure that I send a proper application. :'(

PS: I am sending all my offer-letters, relieving letters, salary slips and other documents provided by a companies. Self provided reference will not work, you need to get one from your employer in CIC format. If that is not possible, get it from your supervisor or senior colleague who can verify your details if VO should re-verify later. Add the person's business card and it will be okay

Please help me with that. I want to make sure that I send a proper application. :'(

Hi, you don't need to wait for someone to share their reference letter details with you, what if nobody shares the details? Time is running out so simply study the job description for your NOC on the list, get your HR or supervisor to give you the reference letter with the duties stated matching up to 80% with NOC roles and you are set. No waiting/copying required, cheers

Hi All,
After 10+ years in IT, I have worked in a variety of roles and can fit into 2171, 2173 and 2174. If I apply under 2171, and get the PR, will it limit my chances of finding a job under 2174 later? I mean, is the noc hard coded to your PR or is there some mechanism to force you only into 2171 jobs? Or are there any legal consequence of switching nocs later? Most service companies dont have well defined roles and a typical senior architect's role will span all 3 noc.

I am still waiting for my ECA to submit my application for FSWP 2014 and is due for August 18th.

The FSW14-spreadsheet shows 198 entries for 2173 so far. Guessing another 200 who did not register or update this excel sheet, looks like 500 applications already in progress.
@zstream, we are in the same boat bro. I too am waiting for my ECA hard copy which is due to arrive on the 6th of August (tomorrow).

And I too am planning to file papers by the 15th of August. I think heavy influx is going to be in August/September time frame judging by the time it takes for IELTS and ECA reports to come.
