Wait for PER. it will take 20 to 25 days. you can take PCC after you got MR mail.

1. Idially, one form should have applicant name as yours and all your details and other form should have applicant name as ur spouse and all spouse details.
for your case it will not be an issue.
2. CC charge is now around 70 days from app date for cold noc and 20 to 25 days for PER after charge date.

however
dear applicant,
where exactly are you looking for your app status ...i applied through consultant.
i.e is there any way i can know my application status
sent a mail to cic but no response yet.
noc- 2173
app reaching date: sept 10th, 2014
no mails or communication from cic yet... dont have much high hopes though..

just need to cross check for surety that i did not miss the email...

any response would be highly appreciated...

yes plus some of the applications that are charged and are waiting official MI PER email.

Most probably(because nothing is certain when talking about CIC),Applications that has gone through completeness check but yet to go through "Eligibility Review" ,.

I too am from 2173 of 25th SEP

Is becoming a lot frustrating wait.. No mails .. no communication ...

Atleast if CAP is reached.. I feel we need to get some communication from CIC and then get app back later maybe..

I had taken DD which was only 3 months valid too.. So its expired now..

Hope is almost lost.. As I continue with my normal working with CIC as just an option
 
if there is a "yes" in the "Cap Reached" column, then we have received more than 1000 complete applications in this subcategory.

That means CIC have capped if they have received more than Thousand applications... There could be a Hope for Left over 16 applications for 2173 Applicants.

As per DHL tracker, CIC received my application under NOC 2171 on 26 November 2014. Since then I have not received any reply from CIC. I am afraid that the cap for 2171 was filled by the time they received my application so they might not consider it however; I am not sure on this.

Now, if my application is refused then I want to go for Express Entry in January 2015 however; I have no information regarding my documents and current application. Can any one help me with how can I get my application status?? Second, if it is refused then when I would receieve my documents back??

I would really appreciate your replies and suggestions as I am really confused on what should I do and what not. I hope for your reply soon.

HI,

I am Sept 8th Applicant and I too haven't received any update neither have I received the application back. So as per me you are for sure out of the cap and prepare for EE. All you need is ur original IELTS report card and WES. so you can start preparing for EE.

HELP :(. NOC 2174. Application received on 01 October, do I stand a chance? If no, by when can I expect my documents to be returned to me so I can apply for EE. ???

No. Refund is available at the very beginning (completeness check process or if the cap is full) they will return the documents without charging CC or DD.
 
so if one gets ner after cc or dd charged there is no refund??
though i am yet to receive communication of any kind...and plan to apply for express entry only after my docs are returned...if ever.
it seems that has to be max 4 months from november 12th, 2014 i.e the date when cap was reached for 2173.
