Hi all!

Does anyone know if the FBi fingerprinting should be strictly done on the standard white stock paper prescribed by FBI?

Thanks.

You can just use the standard card the HK police use, or print the FBI's form and bring it in. It'll be fine.

how long does it normally take upon receipt of passport by hkvo to her sending back to applicant?

PPR letter states they try to return it within 30 days but there's no guarantee.

Just got RPRF Email, how long it will take HongKong VO to process after they receive the payment to PPR?

Hi Kevin,

Just out of curiosity, what did you get on the email? RPRF, PCC etc? No MR yet?
If yes, I think we're at least seeing a new pattern by HKVO and we can start more or less predicting its steps from now on.

Thanks!

there is no MR in the Email. For PCC they just ask me to send to HongKong if did not submit the PCC in my original application package.

So now we seem to have a pattern. Some of us also got an email asking for RPRF/PCC/etc a couple of weeks ago. Since then, no updates: no SLU, no MR, no nothing.
I'm guessing it might speed up the rest of the process, though, since there won't be anything else to check, except the medicals. My wildest dreams predict a MR/PPR joint email. Why not? ;D
Let's keep on sharing our updates and hope for the best!

Can I go to get the HK PCC and send to HK Visa Office before they request for it? I heard we can go and get it along with our PER or AOR email. Coz we need to go and get it during weekdays and we are on annual leave now so wanna see if we can apply for that in advance before they request us to do so. Thanks.

I hope so, it would be great if VO send MR/PPR joint email
We just wait and watch to see what's next

Hey crewbunk,
PCCs usually have 6 months to 1 year validity, so I'd suggest you to get it now, but wait until the VO asks for it. They state in their emails that it's best for you to send all documents they request together, otherwise it might lead to processing delays.
Can you share your timeline? You'll probably get an email about it soon, because we have applicants from late December getting it.

Hey all,

Just wanted to let you know that I got my passport along with my Conformation of Permanent Residence returned yesterday. :)

I am planning to land in Toronto in around 6 weeks.

Good luck to everyone else!
Congrats!

3rd line updated - pending next step.

Hello, Thanks for your advice. In fact, my application was received at late June but up to now, no 2nd line update at all. I got no news since receiving the PER in Oct and AOR in Nov. Afterwards, everything is stopped.....

My agent has helped me send an inquiry to HKVO and hopefully can find out what's going on.
