Hi Seniors,

Please I need your help.

During my Medical examination for the Canadian immigration, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. It was initially recorded as 140/90 and then 160/100, 170/104 with interval probably due to nervousness. When I checked my BP in another clinic it was within the normal range.

They (Canadian approved hospital) advised me to do ECG beside Serum creatine for Kidney and another kidney test.

For some reason my ECG result was abnormal, The cardilosgist at the approved hospital wrote comment on the ECG report to perform Echo test . However the nurse told me that she can send the ECG only. She said it is expensive to do the ECHO in this hospital but I can do it for my own precaution in another hospital.

I did ECG in 2 other reputed hospitals and it was normal.

I just do not know what to do next . Is this the end of road for me?

Shall I proceed to pay passport fee for PR?

Is it a good idea to do the Echo test in the same hospital? for them to attach to my medical reports

Please share your experience and knowledge with me about the abormal ECG results and canadian immigration rejection/acceptance procedure.

Please respond,

I am FSW 2014, June 2nd week applicant, Oct 3rd week PER.

Have they sent the abnormal report to VO? Can't they retry your ECG? If it requires you to repay, it should still be fine.
To make the hospital retry your tests, you can cook a story saying you ended a long travel on the same morning, so ECG captured some restlessness. When hospital is taking you for a ride, you can also act smart ;)

Can't you ask them to stop the process and try out other hospital? (honestly I'm not an expert but just thinking of options)

I think you can definitely handle this and get through this.

Hi

September 24th applicant.

I have received today an email from the LVO to provide: ( for your information ECAS still shows in process 1st line )

- Personal history for the last 24 years not only last 10 years ( I am 42 yo) of Schedule A
- certified copies of my divorce of last marriage and current marriage
- US FBI record. I lived in the US for 6 years. Document ordered on 03.02.2015. My first fingerprints dated 18.10.2014 were not accepted by FBI. So I resubmitted a second set of fingerprints on 02.02.2015

My questions are:
1. The email does not specify how to send the documents. Is it by uploading them on Ecas or by post. VHS?
2. Can I send them separately or should I gather all of them and send them in one package.
3. Can I ask for an extension of 10 weeks to have FBI fingerprints ready. LVO gave me only 30 days to submit missing documents.
4. Can I send US Police criminal record which will be available shortly to replace the one of FBI? is Police criminal report acceptable?

thanks in advance for your insight.
My 2 cents on the above questions:
1. You will need to send the documents to the LVO that requested you for the additional information
2. Gather all the documents you can and send them as 1 package. But if something is going to be delayed, you can send that at a later date.
3. You should request for an extension to send the FBI PCC. The FBI PCC is taking approx 16-18 weeks. But make sure you send a copy of the evidence of having applied for the FBI PCC.
4. Not sure if the US Police criminal record is acceptable. But it would be an advantage to send a copy of the same along with the package.

1. You need to send hard copied to the Visa office ( unless they asked for soft copies ).
2. Ideally send them together, but since you will not be able to get FBI PCC in time, I think you can send them separately.
make sure you write a cover letter stating that u r sending the following document and ask for extension for FBI PCC.
Besides the cover letter you will need to raise a CSE asking for extension for submitting FBI PCC ( they generally provide that )
3. Yes you can, using CSE they will give 60 days extn.
4. Not sure if US Police criminal record will be excepted, they ask for PCC specifically.

Regards
Arjun

Hello Everyone,

By Gods Grace & everyone's prayer I received the MR on 14th March.

MY NOC is 1123.

NDVO has asked me to submit PCC from India. But I was living in Canada from 2010 to 2012 and they have not mentioned anything Particularly.
Below is the line which is mentioned in the letter
"Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate FROM INDIA."

So, I just want to confirm whether I need to submit the PCC from Canada or just from India.

Pls confirm as I heard that they get the Background check for Canada through RCMP themselves. Pls confirm as time is limited.

Thanks in advance.

Dear Canada_Mylove

Not to worry. You would have gone for Echo test from the same place itself, so that they could attached Echo test as well with your rest of medical reports. Still, if you are saying that the physician has recommended you Echo test and you have already gone for Echo test from other hospital which you have found normal. I would suggest you to visit again your physician and get your Echo test done when you already know that it would be normal. Echo is being done to check any heart disease. How was your Creatinine?

However, I still believe that your Medicals will be ok. When they can issue PPR with insulin dependent diabetic patient, then this problem is not that major. All the best.

Keep safe your reports which you have got done from other hospital.

HELP with GCMS again pls

Diplo/Goku/CanOl and other's who have their GCMS

Please help me Construe the below please.
_________________________
Ok, so I had rasied GCMS on 11th Feb and got em on 13th March.

Initially I was happy to see the physical file with "ECU-RFV" on 2015/02/10 but here is what is confusing me.

Page 2 Says the below

ASSESSMENTS

Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Other Reqs:
Final:

So, "Economic Class Unit - Ready For Visa" is where my file is and Security/Criminality say's "Not Started".

I reckon I cant get DM/PPR unless those 2 checks also come through, then how is my paper file with RFV?
Is it their ownership to do these checks and then trigger DM/PPR?

- I send MR/PCC/RPRF on 26th Dec 2014 and the same was updated on Registry on 5th Jan 2015.
- Latest note on GCMS is on 2015/02/09 saying "File requested for RFV check". Its either from ECU-PA or ECU-EDO

Hi friends!

I have paid RPRF and received via email an RPRF receipt which i should sent to the VO. The question is - is it necessary to write details (address, date of birth, etc.) on the receipt? It contains only my name on it. I have sent the receipt to the VO as is, now i am worried.

Thank you!
Yes, you should fill the details in that form

Does raising a CSE delay the processing times?
Last week, I asked my consultant to send a request of inquiry as our application is so much delayed from the applications being processed. She discouraged me because VOfficers get so angry when inquiries are sent every now and then. As a result, negative handling by VO's may happen. I reasoned that this is the very 1st time that we 'll ever inquire. I think, she just doesn't want to for some other reasons. I still haven't received her reply since.
I said that VO's may be pissed off from inquiries if they are inefficient & have no sense of urgency form the fact so many applicants are soooo eager with the results to start a new life and hope in their country. If they aren't guilty of this, then they shouldn't get angry at all to applicant monitoring their application status.
I believe that inquiries serve a wake up call for sleepy VO's. I hope their performance are measured in term of completed cases over time.
God bless us and the best of luck to all of us!!!
