The platinum e-mail is here :)

I'm so pleased to inform you my PPR just landed on my Inbox! I couldn't be happier!

My full timeline is on my left pane. Spreadsheet updated :)

Congrats idefix :) Good luck for the future.

Hi All.

Yesterday my home address appeared on left side of the ECAS. Earlier, only my consultant address was visible.
I was feeling like our file might be about to open and positively with Waheguru's blessings, we get MR in upcoming days.

Any change in ECAS is good that something is going on with your file. Congrats to those who got this kind of updates.

Good Luck to everyone. Stay Blessed, calm and happy.

Congrats. +1 that was very quick.

Thank you very much Goku.

I would like to ask few question from you and other senior members, those are already in Canada!

1: I don't have any friends or relatives in Canada, so what address I will need to give at airport? I will be staying at some hotels may be.

2: When and how we have to give the address for PR card? I mean to say that is there any possibility that we just go to Canada for one or two weeks and get our Cards? If it is possible then how and when we have to give Canada's address?

I have few more question but if Can you please advise on these questions for now, it will be highly appreciated.

Just For an ack regarding ECAS:

Seems CIC has added one field on application online status (ECAS). They are now showing Home address and Mailing address (If both address is not same) on top of the webpage. Its a good update....

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas

This is for your information. So no need to worry for this. I guess many of u have similar changes on the ECAS...

Ashif bhai....nice to see you back. Even if the address is the same they are still showing both... :)

1) You can hire a lawyer and provide their address. They can forward the card to your overseas location for a fee if you leave Canada.
2) Two weeks is clearly not enough to receive a PR card. The processing is 25 days, but there is also a queue before processing starts as well as logistic delays. To sum up, you are looking at two months timeline.

First stage (CIO) takes up to 120 days. At the end you will receive your first email, saying that your application has been put into processing. If things don't go so well, you will receive your app back and a refund at some point or they will retain it and send you a letter explaining their decision (no refund in this case). The latter depends on whether it is rejected at completeness check (before cost recovery) or MI acceptance review (after cost recovery).

We have a separate thread for that.
Security screenings are sent and retrieved in batches. They might be expecting a new batch from CSIS.

Thank you bosschips and MaxHeadroom :) +1 to both of you for the wishes!

Congratulations idefix! Well-deserved PPR for you! :)

If golden e-mail is PER and platinum e-mail is PPR, what kind of e-mail is MR? :P
