There is another problem... in my application i mentioned New Delhi as my VO but i have recd. an email from from Embassy of Canada in Warsaw Poland... Following was the text of the email

"This is an automated message. Please DO NOT RESPOND to this message.

Now i'm confused which VO to inform about my situation... Also my residence address has now changed after marriage but the mailing address is still the smae, do i need to inform this as well...

I already have my marriage certificate ready... my wife already has her passport, what do i need to do to make it ready (i didnt understand what u mean)?

You should generate cse to WARSAW. Don't need to inform the change of your address. if your spouse has a valid passport..... it is ready

Guys,

One doubt. Please let me know which is true.

1. After we get PER and the file gets transferred to local VO, Do background checks get initiated and once that is clear does the file get assigned to a VO for further processing and is that when we get "We started processing your file on XX date".

2. After we get PER and the file gets transferred to local VO, Does the file just sit there idle in the registry waiting for some officer to pick it up and start and one s/he starts we get the line ""We started processing your file on XX date".

Reason i am asking is we received our second line update on Feb 16th Saying that "We started processing your file on 12 Feb ". But till now no verification calls/mails have been made to my wife's company as she is primary, However NDVO had called her to verify the credentials of an ex employee who is applying for student visa.

Any thoughts on this.

Hi just now checked the ECAS it has both the address listed before it was just having the communication address listed what does this signify??

I already got MR on jan 9th and also medical received on 17th jan so any comments or Guess??

I just checked my E-CAS. I see two addresses with the same content - Current and Mailing. So I guess it is being set for many applicants..but not sure if it is for all!!!

If there is a change in the current home address or residence address but no change in communication address do we have to communicate it to ndvo about the same ?
If one has to report the change in current residence address what is the way update and what documents we need to furnish to update the same?
Does it affect the processing if one has received the 3rd line update ?
Any comments or suggestions on the same ?
Anybody who has received Dm or PPR and who has the same change in the address being displayed on ECAS?

NDVO will not send any kind of acknowledgment. You just need to wait for the 3rd line to appear in ECAS or check with the issuing bank on your DD's status. Also, check with your courier company if the documents were delivered at the NDVO reception/gate. My FedEx online status shows so.

Guys one query ..

how do we know NDVO has received our courier in good shape and all documents are intact and correct .. just a matter of concern as it contains all the important forms PCC , MR , DD (53k) ... the same concern was there when i had initially sent the application to cic .. just asking .. pls let me know ur thoughts and what u ppl think abt this .. thanks

I can also see current addresses alongside mailing. Before it was only mailing.
I guess they are on our files now.

Today is 60th day of my 2nd line update but no MR yet. I m really worried as many have received within 2 weeks after update. So is there anything serious or i can still expect MR?

Same case my E-CAS showing the Home and Mailing address just this morning. I hope they are back to our files to send MR or PPR.
