You have updated the "Visa issued date"
I guess it was a mistake...

Apologies ..Corrected now...

Thanks everyone for best wishes. My status was updated to DM on Feb 21st but I have not received PPR yet. How many days NDVO take to send PPR after DM.

the Proof of funds needs to be maintained till you land, can be asked for at any time.

You should be able to provide proof of funds at any time including through landing, but it doesn't have to be the SAME proof of funds. You can use a FD at application, mutual fund account when asked by VO and cold hard cash at landing if you wanted to, for example. As long as you can provide a paper trail and explain where they all came from.

Hi Forum Members,

I am new to this forum and got some queries. I am a November 13th 2014 applicant and recieved PER on 5th Feb 2015.

1. Approximately how much time would it take for the processing to start and the second line to update?
2. Once we receive MR how much time do we get to submit the PCCs, I am awaiting my US and India PCCs currently. I dont think I will get my US PCC before June.

I would really appreciate if someone can assist with these queries.

Thanks in advance.

1. It varies, but could be up to 10 weeks.
2. If you've already requested your PCCs you will have them in time. If not you can always request an extension from the VO.

A question to all friends who have received their stamped passports back with PR....
Is the expiry date of the visa 12 months from your medical date or 12 months from the date of visa stamping

There's only one charging reported in last three working days!
Worried!!!
Although my NOC(4214) is a cold one, the overall cap of 25000 is a worry.
Although people have predicted that the overall cap (25,000) is unlikely to be reached.
But we don't know how many applications ACTUALLY reached in Dec. There's bound to be more numbers in Dec as consultants would have encouraged many to apply & the general belief had been that it was the last chance to apply for FSW & EE was an unknown entity.

So there should be charging to give HOPE! CIC, please play up.

C'mon guys please give some BETTER LOGIC or facts to drown this pessimistic thought.

No way the overall cap was reached. Hang in there. I know the waiting is tough.
