Hi Forum Members,

I am new to this forum and got some queries. I am a November 13th 2014 applicant and recieved PER on 5th Feb 2015.

1. Approximately how much time would it take for the processing to start and the second line to update?
2. Once we receive MR how much time do we get to submit the PCCs, I am awaiting my US and India PCCs currently. I dont think I will get my US PCC before June.

I would really appreciate if someone can assist with these queries.

NDVO applicants waiting for PPR, I want to dispel one theory that was going around today in this forum. That, sending PCC along with one's applications is resulting in a faster PPR.

The reason I say that this is incorrect is by looking at timelines of harpreetnijjar88.
App. Date: 21 July 2014
PER Date: 14 Nov 2014
Medical Request: 12 Jan 2015
Medical Done: 23 Jan 2015
Third Line Updated on ECAS: 28 Jan 2015
Fourth Line Update (Decision Made): 24 Feb 2015

Assuming he sent his PCC alongwith application to CIC on 21st July,2014, I'm sure that his PCC would have been transferred to NDVO only on 14 Nov, 2014 when he received the PER. I mean, it doesn't make sense for CIC to start security check for applicants without sending out the PER (I don't think so they can assume that the applicant is eligible and hence his/her security check starts from day one of receipt !!). Now, it is also observed in this forum that there are many May applicants from NDVO who had done their MR in Sep/Oct 2014 and had sent their PCC along with MR. However, many such cases are yet to receive PPR ... Hence, I presume that it is taking different time for security checks to be complete for each applicant resulting in random order of PPR. It has nothing to do with sending PCC along with application....

Diplomatru, Adisu01 guys let me know if I am wrong.
