I am not sure who told you that KLM flies from Abu dhabi to Calgary directly.... There is no direct flight from Abu dhabi to calgary.....you might have to fly from Pakistan(whichever city you are flying from) - Abudhabi - Amsterdam - Calgary.

There is no need for transit visa if you are just changing flights in amsterdam to my knowledge

Hi every one!

With the grace of God-Almight, my immigration process is done and have got visa stamped. Currently, I am in Saudi Arabia, and will be taking final exit from here and will be coming back to Pakistan because I want to fly from there. instead of flying from Saudi Arabia.

In this regard, can any expert shed some light to below queries?

Can I just simply buy KLM tick from Saudi and come to pakistan and fly from there?

I believe Itehad airline has a tie in with KLM so Itehad air line will take me from karachi to abu dhabi then I will get on board in klm from abu dhabi to calgary? Is that smooth process and no additional visa or formal documentation is required? can any one confirm that?

Will I require any other transit visa or any formal document will be required?

I will be really thankful if some one can provide authentic information

Infact there is no LOGIC with NDVO !!

Disagree. Case in point are rinal2174 and priyank3181. I know for sure that they have dependents and priyank had a few foreign travels (more than 5 countries). So there is no logic... It's as and when one's security is cleared by third party which itself is random ???

Dear Shahzadpir,

First of all Congrats dear.

If you are booking KLM online with the port of departure as Karachi then no need for any transit visa. Etihad will take you from Karachi and from Abudhabi onward it will be KLM till Calgray. But if you purchase Etihad ticket separately and KLM from Abu dhabi then you will in need of UAE visit visa.

You have also other options i.e Turkish Airline, Qatar, Emirates and all of them having 2 transit stays.

On the CIC website it is mentioned that incase of any changes/updates to the application; the visa officer should be informed.

I recently visited another country for work through business visa.

Is it required write to CIC regarding this??

I have already received my PER in Dec 14.
