Alhamdullah got MR+RPR Fee+PCC+Schedule A and IMM5406 forms to submit

They mention that :

1. Schedule A and IMM5406 forms emailed to this office within the next 5 days (means five working days ??? this is IMM0008 updated: 8-2014 and Additional family information form updated: 9-2013)

2. You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 30 days of the date of this letter. (I got email 18-2-2014 can I do medical on 14-2-2014 ???)

3. For PCC instructions on how these certificates may be obtained have been sent to you by mail. It is not possible to email them to you. As you are likely aware, mail can often take quite some time to be received. Please allow for this. (is this normal should I wait for surface mail ?).

Guys Just now I checked Ecas and it shows DM with 4th Line.

As per the trend, I hope I should get PPR soon now, keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi seniors,

I have my UCI number , I got it after calling to CIC , now i entered my UCI , it says " In Process " and if I click over it , it says " We received your application for permanent residence on December 12 2014. ". However, I didnt receive any PER email yet. What does this means ?

Finally got the PPR request from NDVO today at 11:06 AM today!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to thank each one of you for the support that was provided whenever I did have a concern.

A point to note I had updated my Visa rejection and had shared the updated Background Declaration Form with them, and it was not an issue.

My best wishes and prayers with each one of you.

For folks who are still waiting for the PPR, its just about being patient, there is a huge pile at NDVO that is awaiting a final review before the PPRs can be issued and looks like it is slowly getting cleared.

Be Patient and wait and the moment will arrive.

- What happens if my PR card expires while I am outside Canada?
- I'm a new permanent resident of Canada. Do I need to apply for a PR card?

I've got an idea!

When someone on this forum thread asks a question and he/she doesn't have their timeline details added to profile section on the left, we don't answer their query, rather we reply with the text similar to the one below NAVY color.

Not sure if everyone will like it but at least it will encourage those people who come here only to get their queries answered and then disappear to contribute to this forum.

Before people on this forum can answer your query, you need to update your profile to add ALL details of your application timeline.

Jeez man it's everyone's choice whether to do it or not. I don't want mine taking up so much space. It's already on the spreadsheet.

I'm going to continue trying to help as much as I can whether people post their timelines or not.

Dear fellow members,
I am pleased to notify you that I have received a passport request from NDVO for visa stamping. I would like to thank everyone for their hard effort who constantly supported me to reach this stage.

But I am currently one issue. I am currently residing in Australia and I have sent emails / phone NDVO several times to send me passport request to Sydney VO, but they igonred my mails. Now, what shall I do ? Shall I send my passports to VFS Nepal and they will send to NDVO or shall I reinform NDVO about my address and ask for relocation of visa issuance and wait for the response.

To keep Canadian PR active one has to stay in Canada for two years in five year period.

However, can someone tell me when does the five year period start?

Is it the start date on PR Visa?
or is it the date of entry in Canada?
or is it the start date on PR card?

Also, I wanted to know what is the start date on PR Card? Is it the date of entry into Canada or date when one applied for PR card or the date when PR card was printed?

Hello guys, i have a problem here. i got my PER in November 2014 and then added a new dependant by submitting updated forms along with credit card details to london visa office. A few days back I received an email from LVO that they are not accepting fees by credit cards. They are only accepting fee by cheque or banker's draft in canadian dollars and that only for which clearing bank is in Canada. I have checked with my relatives in UK to arrange for such a draft but could not find a way to get that.

Could any one please advise me how to get such a draft (especially in UK)?

Further, I have applied from Pakistan, my application was received on 21 august 2014. And i got my PER on 11 December 2014. My ECAS status is still showing that my application is under process.

How much further time the process will take and when can I expect an MR?

Approach any bank in London or Pakistan or any city of the world, which has good banking system.. Ask the bank to make Demand Draft in favour of " ___________" (Please fill it up with beneficairy name... Generally, it is Receiver General for Canada") payable at Toronto.. Currency CAD..

I just want to make it clear...
we can do medical in any country in the world but physician must be from the immigration list ...
it doesnt matter where we live ....right ???...cos it is more then 50 % cheaper in Bosnia then in Croatia ....
