PER: Waiting anxiously

Query: is there any standard time for PER or do I need to contact CIC asking them to check the status. Please answer. Thanks.

Your PER should reach you anytime in the next 10 days or so. Fingers crossed !

The ECAS status shows the Updates at various stages and you dont get an email for DM but for PPR you get an email.

ECAS can be checked at the following link using the UCI number.

I have sent my application on Oct 16th for 2171 NOC, I haven't got any response back from CIC till now I don't even know if my application has been rejected or I still have any chance.

Applicants who have sent under 2171 please help.

Congrats all who have received DM/PPR at NDVO....I think 22-23 applicants in all ... So we can assume around 200 applications would have been cleared by NDVO this week...(if we assume 20% representation in forum)

I am so sorry to tell you that NOC 2171 capped in the 1st week of September . I suggest you send CIC an inquiry email / phone call. At least you will get some definitive response from them.
Dont lose hope and without any further delay create a profile under Express entry.

I'm doing e-medicals as I'm not in India and would like to know if I need to get anything form the hospital once the meds are done, like a acknowledgement or receipt to be sent to NDVO along with PCC?

Has one of you done e-meds, please do let me know

Post this No update has been reported from any other member. Neither has it been confirmed if any DD has been encashed

Anybody have any idea on within how many days one should get PPR mail after having status updated to DM in ECAS?

PPR email | Photographers signature/stamping behind Photo Query:

NO it is not required for the Photographer to stamp his details at the back of Picture. Only thing to mention on back of the picture (main and dependents) is
Write Date of Birth and Full name as per PP.

But the photo specifications sheet says, One photo must bear the name and complete address of the photo studio and the date the photo was taken
must be included on the back of one photo. The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information.

for NDVO, from the spread sheet, till now two applicants have been issued with visa.... (for 0111 category)
1) kumar.aman - application dt 7th May 2014 - PP request on 28th Jan - PP returned on 3rd Feb
2) A0111 - application dt 20th May 2014 - PP request on 23td Dec - visa issued on 8th Jan

and only one applicant is currently with passport requested and waiting for his/her passport to come back
Tots - application dt 9th May 2014 - PP request dt 19th Feb
