If the primary applicant has Hiv , you are 99% likely to get rejected. If the dependents have HIV you still have a fair chance of clearing medical. Please refer cic manuals related to medical .

Need Help !!! I've got the second line updated stating "We started processing your application on February 10th 2015". Please suggest a couple of things:

1. When should I expect the Medical Request?
2. I've come to the US on H1B Visa on Jan 24th 2015 and my family (Wife and daughter) are in India - How to go for completing the Medicals for me and family?
3. If they ask me for the PCC again which I submitted along with the application from the local Police station, how to get it for me? Will I get it from Consulate of India or from somewhere else? I am in the East Coast (Delaware)[/b]

Please sugest at the earliest... Please find below my Timeline:

VO - NDVO
Application Sent - August 20th 2014
Application Received CIO - August 25th 2014
CC Charge - November 11th 2014
PER - December 12th 2014

You will get it soon.I got my PER on 29 Dec and MR on Feb 5 from Ottawa.

Hi Delhi2171,

1. You can expect the MR in another 2 weeks.
2. You can complete your MR in the USA and your family can do the same in India. You need to take the MR form that the VO will send you containing the UCI number. It doesn't matter if you are in different countries. However, it would be good if your family and you can go to an emedical doctor so that the medical reports can be uploaded faster.
3. You can get the PCC from the Washington DC Consulate however since your passport might have been issued in India it might take longer to do it from here. Alternatively, you can get a PCC from Delhi Police within 7 days via email. See link http://delhipolice.nic.in/

You can also submit a request to the Passport Seva Kendra for a PCC. However the Delhi Police request is the fastest and most convenient.

Noc-5125.... Anxious & desperate to get ppr.. Fingers crossed .. Hope we get some good news soon !

Dear All,
After a long waiting period....
I have one great news to share, that my application is "In Process" at CIC, after several days of waiting.
Just called CIC and a male attendent received my call and asked several questions including Place of birth, date of birth, country of residence, family name, email, given name, city of birth, mobile number, and then only he informed me good news that your application is at the moment might be under Elgibility Review because status being shown is "In Process" and CIC will contact you shortly via Email. Strange thing here is that the attendent asked several questions which seemed to me very strange because as per the information shared on forum by the persons who called CIC they don't ask so many questions.

I requested the person (Male Attendent) to provide me my UCI number, but he said that I am sorry that we have been given clear instructions not to release this information over the phone. Hopefully I shall try again and may be this time a female attendent will attend the call and provide me UCI number.

Strange thing is that till yesterday my DD was still not encashed as per information provided by my bank.

I hope and pray that i shall receive my PER very soon, because "In Process" means "99.99% PER", as I have been advocating on the forum in my several replies and hopefully it will be the case for me.
