I have submitted my file on 6th Nov,2014 and category is 2173. Have not received PER/NER or DD withdrawal notification. Is there anyone who has applied for the same category and has received any updates?

Requesting advice on a change in my Application.

My Application reached 22 Oct 14, CC charged on 24 Dec 14. NO PER yet.....

The person who wrote the reference letter for my application has QUIT the company.

Do I inform this to CIC? Incase CIC is unable to contact this person, will it effect my PER/Application?

Please advice....

Sorry to say but you are out of the cap for NOC 2173. Aug 12 is the last day for NOC 2173 applications.

You may receive your package back in some time from now.

My Friend who submitted on Aug 18 has received their packet back on Jan ending...

2nd Line Update: 5th Feb
MR: Waiting.


I have used a representative for the application. I notified her of the 2nd line update, but today morning she sent me a text stating that "CIC has started making verification calls to employers. Please be careful. "

From what I could figure out was that after you get a 2nd Line Update after your background checks and employers verification.
I am very confused.

Also by when should I be expecting the MR ??

I have no idea whether the documents can be delivered personally

But I have sent the courier via DTDC and they delivered it to PO Box address. I have even received the delivery confirmation from DTDC

I am a New Delhi resident. If I need to send original hard copies to New Delhi Visa Office of Canadian Embassy, is it possible that I can go there personally and deliver it at the main gate, rather than going through speed post or normal post (considering it is a PO Box address) which is:

Immigration Section - Service de l'Immigration
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri PO Box 5209 New Delhi 110021

I have sent a document set via speed post on Saturday 14th Feb and till date speed post tracking shows it hasn't been delivered. Since it is a PO Box address, I was told by speed post executive that they cannot deliver at PO Box so I just striked off PO box part with one line so that it was still readable if needed. After seeing that i have striked off PO Box part they said now they'll be able to deliver. They were suggesting me to go with normal post but I didn't take that route because there would be no way I'll be able to track it.

Do you think with PO Box part striked off, but still readable, my doc will reach at the above mentioned address??

Even regular courier guys Bluedart, DTDC etc. said no to me saying PO box address they do not cater.

ALSO, IS IT OK OR DOABLE TO DELIVER DOCUMENTS AT EMBASSY MAIN GATE PHYSICALLY?

I don't think you need to iinform CIC now, something else might be delaying your PER. I hope you are not claiming points for relatives. If you are they will need to check based on the document you submitted

Dear Forum Members,
Just a quick update, I submitted the passports for myself, my wife, and our kid yesterday (17-02-2015) to VFS Global Islamabad Pakistan. The Tracking Status currently on VFS website for each of us says:

"Visa application, tracking ID No.*********** Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Offlice, ISLAMABAD on 18/02/2015. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website."

Best wishes to all FSW 2014 applicants waiting to get to the stage of sending in their passports for visa stamping.

I'll update the SS with the Passport Sent Date shortly...
