With a great surprise..received an acknowledgement mail from Colombo Visa Office..... :

My timeline...!!

App filed - 24 Sep 2014
VO - NVDO
PER - 07 Jan 2015

Received AOR today from Colombo Visa office....stating..."This is to inform you that your application for permanent residence in Canada as a Federal Skilled Worker has been transferred to the High Commission of Canada in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This has been done to provide the shortest possible processing time. In some instances your file may be transferred to the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi. If so, you will be notified."

Hope it will speed-up the process....!!

What happens if I cannot land in Canada before the One-Time-Entry(PR stamp for Indians) stamp expires? Some say that i'll have to get new medicals and enter, and others say that the PR will then expire, and i'll have to restart the whole process.

Can someone confirm which one is true?

PR will expire, and you have to restart the whole process as per new rules existing at that time.

GCMS notes does not trigger any change to you application proceedings.
It simply is an extract of all the notes the case officers have made against your application.
It will help you understand how you file was handled at all the various stages.

Can get the idea where how much time it will take to get the decision on the file from the GCMS Notes ?

I have asked my consultant to get the GCMS notes on our file.

I am 02 Oct applicant. NOC 2132. CC charged on 23 Dec. till now i didn't received any communication from CIC after CC charging. what should i have to do.?
i have UCI no. MY ECAS status shows in Process.

what is the ECAS status if any application failed to pass PER stage? in this case how CIC communicate after CC charged?

Seniors Please suggest me.. how about getting status update through GCMS? what is process for GCMS?

Hi, As Diplo suggested, apply for GCMS notes.

I understand you applied under NOC 3142 (Physiotherapist)
In this case, I guess site visit would be a clinic or hospital.

In a profession as your I would have thought there is no shade of grey for any kind of amiguity.

s it happend in a clinic.my previous experience is a multi speciality hospital .but i got so many references frm doctors
to support my current experience.but current employer is my college mate.so thy startd probinng aftr knwing that.thy asked some of the patients
in waiting area showin my photograph.since iam handling pediatric cases they wre not able to identify me.photograph was taken last year.we have a yoga instructor who comes
in the morning since v never get a chance to meet coz she leaves bfr i go thre.she comes in the evening aftr i wind up.she also couldnt recognize me at once.actualy they wre all undr shock fr some time.since i was not well i was at home.they didnt probe me on tht coz it was very much evident in my voice tht iam nt well.but she specificaly asked wethr il come tomrw or not..wil thy visit again?

visit happened today only.shal i apply now itself///my consultant said to wait for 60 days.they wil ask for explanation.
aftr tht only final decision can be made.one of my friend experienced the same issue few yrs back.it was put on hold.
after continous calls they got medical req.but in her case it was telephone enquiry.in my case it s physical visit.how long it wil take usually to knw
the next step after visit????

can u explain wht happened when dy came 2 know u r on sick leave? u went back 2 work? wht things contraindicts dem?? can u explain wats da whole story? why dey call u from ur office land line?? strange.. dy r not supposed to tell ur work area abt ur immigration file....

dy met ur boss and informed dem abt ur case????

dont feel panic..raise gcms notes.. its better..
secondly dy may ask explanation letter if dey find any discrepancy

can u explain wht happened when dy came 2 know u r on sick leave? u went back 2 work? wht things contraindicts dem?? can u explain wats da whole story? why dey call u from ur office land line?? strange.. dy r not supposed to tell ur work area abt ur immigration file....

Nothing be worried about yet. In most cases a CC charge has eventually turned out to be PER.
As you are December applicant, quite possible that you physical file from NDVO is being transferred to some other VO, Warsaw or Colombo as a few other forumites have reported. That could be cause for the delay.
Good news should come soon.

I just called CIC.. the agent asked for my last name and first name and DOB.. then he said i can not find your application status :/...
I also asked him whether the cap has reached for NOC 4011.. firstly he said no... then he said if the cap has reached you could have get your application back by now... now I am worried :/ why he couldnt find my record...

appreciate replies frm seniors..iam a may 20th applicant..i got site visit by canadian hi commision today
but they said they wre not satisfied wen leaving..iwas not well so i was at home.but thre r some contradictictions in the answerss.
they called me frm my work place.they tuk some photographs also.
pls tell me wat next???chances fr rejection??

i gave reference letters from two of my employers previous one frm a multispeciality hosp.after that i did my post garduation so i used wrk part time in my
class mates clinic.aftr completing pg i continued there. v are like partners.i got refernce letters frm many doc frm hospitals who are all refering patients to me.
today iam not well i was at home i was sleeping wen i got the call.moblie num.she told callin frm canadian hi comision.she asked whre i was .i told her iam nt well so im at home.actually it was very evident frm my voice.more over i was sleepin.she askd me few questions.it was ok.then i called my friend and came to knw that they wre thre .five of them.simultaneously thy wre talkin to us. my friend was very tensed.he told tht i ve gone out to c patient coz he thot thy wnt blive if he say im not well.then thy enquired some of the clients in waiting area .since i handle only pediatric cases they dnt kne me.its not my duty hours also.
