the physcial file is also preserved for 7 years and then it archived in electronic format - based on CIC archive policy document.

GCMS is a computer system and I think notes stay in case of citizenship application in the future

I,m 23 September applicant and my PER date is 15 December.

I received mail from London visa office to submit 4 photographs again with given specifications.i did not receive either MR or 2nd line update yet.


My question is what does it mean:

have they started processing my application?
Have they completed background checks?
Will this photo requirement delay my process?

Most of us september applicant LVO recieved such photo requirements, your not alone many of us september applicant. I just don't know the reason of this photo requirements for most of us LVO september applicants.

I guess, applications that got the DM over the past few days might get their PPR today...

i think visa office may not function properly today because of the election results. they may anticipate traffic problems and victory celebration.

Secondly we may not see many decision made today because it usually takes up to 3 days for the gcms to reflect changes. so starting from tonight and early tomorrow onwards we will be back to track as the Monday updates are going to get reflected on web sites

It is hard to believe that CIC wants to finish off the pending files of FSW2014 by routing the files to different VO like Pol who actually still seems to be the slowest and most lethargic VO. I still believe and pray from God that CIC gonna make sooner landing of all of us in Canada
