Hello friends,

Application recvd : Aug 21st
NOC:1212
CC Charge : Nov 20th
PER Received : Dec 9th
Second Line update : February 2nd

Please help me... My credit card charged on 20th Nov, after that i was awaiting for the PER E-mail desperately and almost lost hope in it, but to my surprise few days back, my tenant gave me a post which had a PER!! But just wanted to know why is that I haven't received my PER through E-mail..is that because my e-mail id is updated incorrectly..if it is yes..I am really worried because ;what if the VO sends a MR through post it takes time to reach me and i would not be able to complete medical in a given time frame..Please help me what should i do now ?? And what is the expected time to receive the MR after second line update...plz helpppp:(

You received PER via post? Check your records and see if you entered your e-mail address correctly on your generic form. You can send a case-specific enquiry to your VO confirming your correct e-mail address and asking that anything they've already tried to send you (such as MR) be re-sent.

Hi All,
My current address has changed as I shifted to new home. Should I intimate CIC about update? I have received PER.
Would be grateful if responded early :)

Please do a case specific enquiry (CSE), write down on a paper with your signature and attach it on CSE

[size=10pt]Dear all,

My CC was charged on 2nd Feb (NDVO), please help me with following clarity:

# Does it mean that all of my documents are proper and they have reviewed the same in detail.
# They have calculated the points and I meet the expectations and requirement.
# What is the process between CC charge to PER & PER to MR at CIC
# If my CC is charged, is it possible to check the status somewhere online, if yes, please share the link and what details would be required.

Regards

Hi everyone,

After the launch of Express Entry, CIC has disabled all information pages pertaining to FSW 2014. Is there some way those could be accessed ? Has someone copied those in PDF form or else ?

Please message me if you have. In specific I was looking for the Guide, and the required fees at various stages.

Much appreciated.

Regards

Thanks arkscan, my consultancy is having branches in Canada I can request to them for GCMS, any idea how many days it takes. Case specific or GCMS is faster

GCMS will take an exact month from the date u apply..At this stage, yes GCMS'd be faster, with CSE you cannot even be sure if they will reply or not :)..Keep in mind though, GCMS will only contain ur file status until the date you apply (and not the date u receive)

The set of documents or the application is passed initial review and ready to be processed further by respective local visa office
# They have calculated the points and I meet the expectations and requirement.
Yes they did calculate points considering the documentation proof you have provided.
# What is the process between CC charge to PER & PER to MR at CIC
Once the file is transferred to the local visa office depending on the country of residence,
# If my CC is charged, is it possible to check the status somewhere online, if yes, please share the link and what details would be required.
You should get the PER(positive eligibility review) over email which would have details about when the fees was deducted along with UCI(Unique Client Identifier) # and application # for reference.

You can use the UCI # to check the status for further stages by going to following link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp?s=35

Another question
If I get the GCMS notes now, will I be able to check them until the end of my process or its only until the day I get the notes?

If you order it now how could you get the data till end. GCMS notes are the record of the process till the date of extract. It is not like login type somthing that in future you can get updates....

Finally...after some anxious wait :)

"We started processing your application on February 4, 2015."

ECAS updated just today, don't know exactly around when. I just checked now, had been busy whole day.

Also, I understand my file is with NDVO and not WVO.

**SS Updated**

As I understand it from the FAQs, ur friend may/may not apply on your behalf..the wording is confusing->

A: Canadian citizens, permanent residents and any individual present or corporation in Canada can make a request under the Access to Information Act. Individuals who are neither of the above can ask a representative, who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, to make a request on his/her behalf, provided there is written consent.

Double-check this with others.....Also you would need to provide a written letter of authorization/consent and ur friend would need to provide his particulars including his Canadian address...

He can apply as an individual present in Canada. He will require a consent form and a recent bill with his name and address.

You can apply for GCMS Notes multiple times....however if u say, apply today, you will receive the results exactly a month later...But the file will only contain status until today....i.e. it's like a system dump of ur file containing all ur information till today but given to you a month later...what happens in this intervening month, u won't be able to get from the Notes if u apply today...hope I'm clear...:)

Yes, thank you!
Crystal clear

Hello all,

I am 9th July applicant waiting for MR. 2nd line updated on 14th jan. Am licants get MR generally in a week or two after second line updation... For me it has been Almost a month.

Any one else from 1st week of July waiting?

Regards,

Don't worry . . . you are not alone

If you want to be happy than don't compare your timeline with others. There are many factors on which the proceedings are done. Some factors are beyond our control like :-

1. preference being given to NOC with max no. of applicants or hot NOC.

2. NDVO is over loaded as compare to other VO

3. Funniest of all, may be our file is handed over to some lazy officer for processing :D

Have patience and enjoy waiting . . .
