New Express Entry – First Round

It seems EE is getting impressive results in its first round though the fact that everyone who was invited to apply for permanent residence in this round of invitations already has a valid job offer or provincial nomination.

Each of these candidates including professionals in natural and applied sciences, and industrial, electrical and construction trades, declared that they already have a valid job offer or provincial nomination.

Express Entry programme some 31,779 skilled workers have been invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada in the first round!!!

Candidates who are accepted into the pool are ranked according to various factors, including language proficiency, education and work experience. Candidates will have up to 60 days to submit their application online.

A Query for How much money to bring while entering Canada

  • There is no limit to bring money to Canada by a PR
  • You need to declare at immigration check that you hold more than $10,000
  • It is not mandatory to bring/carry the same amount that you showed at the time of filling/showing Financial Proof (forms)
  • Other money if less than $10000 you can carry a travelers cheque/DD or even can transfer money later on when you are settled
  • Immigration Check team/people will sure make sure that you have enough money for 1 year survival before you are landing
  • This thing they will conclude by few basis questions in form of small interview at time of immigration check
  • The money you have showed POF or intending to carry are already taxed, so whenever you bring to canada in some part of full, those amount will always be non taxable in Canadian terms and accounts
  • In case of transferring huge amounts, one need to prove that all part of it is already taxed within your origin country

So you don't need to carry the amount shown as POF and can carry any amount for spending immediately. Later on can get the amount wired into your Canadian account. AM I RIGHT?

Dear PalakBhai ,
First of all Congrats to u.
Kindly listen to my condition ...
NOC 2174
NDVO
Application filed on : 14-05-2014
PER on : 03-09-2014
Processing started on (second line update) : 27-10-2014
But no NEWS of MR so far.
Infact I had applied for FSWP 2013 under the same NOC , but the file was returned due to cap fill, then re-applied for FSWP 2014. Could u analyze any reason behind the long delay in getting MR?
