Hey Guys,

Happy to share the good news that finally, finally, finally, I have received the much elusive

PER !!!!!

Thanks to all the forum members for the confidence bestowed upon me. Your support really helped me go through the difficult times. Will not name anyone as the list is endless and do not want to miss anyone. ;D ;D

Will update the SS shortly

Congratulations CanOl.

My timelines :
NOC : 1114
Application receipt date at CIC as per courier : 2nd Sept
Application receipt date at CIC as per CIC : 20th Oct
DD encashment date as per CIC : 23rd Dec
DD encashment date as per bank : 29th Dec
ECAS update went live : 16th Jan
PER date : 20th Jan

Don't really think I had missed out on any docs in the initial application, though i must admit that :
1. My Birth Certificate wasn't submitted as I didn't have one at the time of application submission. Had submitted an affidavit and a 10th passing certificate in which DOB was mentioned.
2. Didn't submit legal marriage certificate as I did not have one at the time of application submission. In lieu of this, I had submitted marriage certificate issued by religious priest and passport copies where spouse name was updated. Also Childs BC was provided where parents name was updated.

Have got both these certificate issued from respective government offices now, to be on the safer side. Don't recall any other discrepancy.

Thanks once again for all the support.

Congratulations CanOl.

Hope this helps/

Thanks Goku.

My wife is also with me in France , so I understand that she can also go for medicals in France.

The problem still remains for Indian PCC. For that we will have to go India or request for an extension period.

Isn't it ?

Plus , they have requested for an affidavit for me not having a Birth Certificate . Is there any format available for this affidavit?

Thanks for your help !!

Hi,
Currently I work in Canada on Temp Work Permit (Intra-Company Transfer),
a. Do I need to take PCC from India consulate in Canada ?
b. PCC from India? If yes, how to get it from Canada or Do I need to travel back to India for PCC?

Please advice. Thanks.

Guys pls help

I submitted my application on 27th August under 4011 and received PER in December 14 , AOR on January 19th.
nevertheless, as I omitted submitting academic docs along with ECA I have resubmitted a complete new application on October 6 with a covering letter to explain reasons for submission.
I have just checked my E-cas and it shows two IN PROCESS line. One for August application and another one for October application.
How they could process same applicant twice under same NOC !!!!!! Assholes they are.

What to do ??? Plz Advice.

Anup,

Your wife and you, both can do medicals in France with some panel physician.

Regarding Indian PCC, no need to come to India.

Extract from CIC website
Non-Resident Requests
Applicants should contact the Indian embassy or consulate.

Regarding Birth Certificate affidavit, there is no fixed format. Just ensure you mention your name, DOB, your parents name, place of birth and reason why you don't have a birth Certificate.
