Hi,

Two of my friends got the following replies from CIC yesterday. NOC is 2173

"As of the date of this email, I can find no record of your application in our database. As you state it was delivered on October 1, 2014, it may be in the queue for initial processing. You may wish to submit a status inquiry in 2-3 weeks, and a further search can be conducted. Please submit a scanned copy of your courier tracking number at that time. There is no requirement for further documentation at this time."

Why they don't have any data for an application that reached 3 months before. Even the application is rejected due to Cap, they have to inform that right ? Why this strange reply ? Any comments ?

Thanks
Arun

Both way is possible Manucharyanroza

1. either update the PP and then send copies to VO at MR stage
2. update later on once MR is done and before the time of PPR

Note: Minimum 6 months validity should be there on any PP for the stamping. which ever is less the visa validity will be issued till than for all the members.
Thanks for reply, the 1st is better for longer validity:)

Hi Palak and other seniors,

I recently visited a consultant (WWICS) at my hometown in Gujarat. They offer placement and settlement services for immigrants wherein they conduct a 2 day workshop in Mohali (head office) to get us trained on how to get jobs in canada of our respective profiles. Moreover, they help in preparing our resume as per canadian job market requirements. further, once you land in canada, they offer another 2 day workshop in canada wherein we are trained to crack the interviews and get ourselves adapted to canadian work culture. They also promised me at least 4-5 interview calls pertaining to my profile (entry level). For this, they are charging 1500 CAD (approx 90K INR). Is this worth??? what is your frank opinion on this??

Quitting current job !! no way for me ..
Even after grant I will take leave of one month go to Canada Apply PR card get PR card come back...
