Seniors / Bankers Plz help

• Bank says they have no means of tracking the DD payment or checking encashed or not.
• Are hand written Demand Drafts Okay, like the one above?
• Anyone from the banking industry who can help me know how a DD is tracked so I can confront the Bank with the right questions/statements?
• Any such tools they use or applications in which they would be able to trace the payment

-hand written DD is absolutely OK
- to track ur dd.. give ur dd no. date of issuance, beneficiary name, amount to foreign exchnage dept. or treasury dept.of the bank.. they will definately tell u the status as they have correspondent link with bank of montreal...

That's exactly what I did, I first contacted the branch with a copy of my DD where I was told that they can't track it and then I went to the Foreign Exchange department which had happened to issue me this DD and I was given the same run-around.

I know issuing banks can check if a DD has been encashed or not, but they would just not do it. :'(

just paid my RPRF online and received the receipt.
there is a blank space to fill in the Payer information (which is myself), can it be filled by hand or it needs to be typed up or it doesnt matter?

I am 14th July Applicant PER 11th Nov,still i am waiting for 2nd line update.
I have submit my new born baby docs in November last week,is that reason for 2nd line not update.

Any advise from forum members.

application date is 14july2014, per on 10 nov 2014.
ECAS shows Line 1 as we have started processing your req....Nothing else updated yet.

I guess this is a true test of paitence...Lets do that and hope for the best..

I got my visa status changed online its says "We started processing your application on January 15, 2015". What does this mean ? and what happens next any advise would be great

Another email now. and this one hopefully is the last. The mistake in the previous email was I was asked to submit my passpost to Islamabad VO in the first mail but now it is revised to New delhi. So yes finally NDVO has started PPR. Good luck to everyone. Hope this is a storm of PPR unlike last time.

hello frnds,

I am highly confused and worried Lips sealed Huh
My Application was received on 1st August
CC charged 10th November
PER received on 26th November.
Since then i have not received any update from CIC. Even when i check my online status i see just the first line that our application was received on xxx date.
Friends what should i do.... are there other people also in the same situation Huh is there some thing to be worried about as i see people who got their PER on and after 27th Nov getting MR request Lips sealed Lips sealed Huh Cry
Don't worry, we will get the MR in couple of days.. mine also same Aug 1st and PER 27th Nov. Waiting for the turn.....

Got My Visas and COPR from ADVO today...Took 7 months from date of application!

Below are the informative details of my case which might help you:
Application sent date: 6th June 2014 (from Dubai through DHL)
App. Received date: 11th June 2014
CC Charged: 1st Oct 2014
PER: 8th Oct 2014
Visa Office : LVO
LVO Processing date: 25th Nov 2014
Medicals Request: 1st Dec 2014
Medicals done: 6th Dec 2014
Medicals sent: 8th Dec 2014
RPRF Request: 1st De 2014
RPRF Sent: 21st Dec and received date at LVO: 23rd Dec 2014
PPR Request Date: 8th Jan 2015
Decision Made Date: 11th Jan 2015
Visa and COPR received Date: 20th Jan 2015
Attending CIIP Session in Dubai on 22nd Jan 2015...
