Hi Guys,

I received rprf and document request from Bucharest VO. i did not receive MR from them. How long does it take to receive the MR? i submitted all the requested documents and the rprf one week ago. guys please help please help please help. thanks in advance.

I was freaking out because my ECAs had been live since January 13th but no PER mail.... UNTIL NOW!!!!

My timelines:

NOC: 2172
CC Charge: Dec 18th
ECAS status live: Jan 13th
PER: Jan 18th

Hi George, Thanks a lot for putting in this periodic effort and sharing the stats.
I am specifically interested in the RPRF received to Passport requested timeframe. Would you have done an average to derive this figure or have you excluded to bottom / top 10% outliers?
If not, can you also share post excluding the outliers, whats the average days you get.

While calculating I have already excluded them. So these are the averages,minimum, maximum of only those members, whose entered data looks to be genuine or near to realistic.

I was just reviewing my documents after getting the PER on 15 Dec and realized that I did not chose yes in the Visitor Visa Refusal category.... I guess I overlooked it crap......

What are the chances of success if I send a letter and updated background declaration form to the NDVO...

can can body or some one who has gone through this experience (and received MR or PPR request) please share their thoughts..

I remember I have come across a post with a detailed description of eCAS statuses and the meanings of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th lines. Didn't manage to find it again. Could you please remind this stuff or provide a link to the corresponding thread? Description prvided by CIC is somewhat a mess

How is it possible all these activities from CIC/Visa Office on Sunday?
I also had my ECAS 4th line updated today "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." \o/

Some questions:
1- Is this the same line for everybody who reached this point?
2- Who does create this 4th line? the Visa office or CIC in Ottawa?
3- I had already sent my passport and RPRF deposit slip, but I've seen people who didnt receive the PP request yet but had the 4th line updated. Is that really possible?

Come on, we are NOC 2171 guys, aren't we? The CIC information systems might work the way when some tasks are performed in batches / bulk updates put on schedule, e.g. they made their changes to the files and statuses and then the statuses table is automatically updated on Sunday

attach the letter with an explanation by raising a case specific enquiry to your VO asap. it is still correctable now that processing has not started, after this time out it will be misrepresentation.
