Doesn't HKVO issue MR simultaneously with PPR?

So far I know from 2 of my friends, HKVO will request for Police Clearance after 2nd line update. One of them got Medical Request around 1 month after Police Clearance Request and the other one is still waiting.

For me, I am still waiting for the second line update.

May I know is CIC update the system everyday in Sydney local time or the status is updated by Visa Office?

I personally think we should refrain from such a topic and debate which has no relevance on this thread and forum such as who did what and which state is a terrorist state as this is all global bureaucracy and global politics.

Just a quick question.
I had applied for the program without FBI PCC and I have received the per email on Dec 29th.

I have just sent my fingerprints to FBI. I am assuming it will take 14-16 weeks to receive the PCC.

Will the visa office give me extra time? How long do they give for the applicants in the similar case?

Did you notice any background Verifications??
When was your 2nd Line updated??

I submitted POF and PCC with the application, i haven't noticed any back ground verification, and what is the 2nd line ?

Look, I don't give a nickel dime about discussing politics on an immigration forum. An applicant asked me about security checks at LVO and I replied to him accordingly. Whether you like it or not, nationals of some countries are taken seriously by CSIS and undergo thorough checks before they are found admissable as per IRPA. If this processing seems racist to someone, he can withdraw his application at any given moment. Canada won't care.

Try to arrange from other means PR once in life time opputunity so do not run into unncessary trouble.

I am May. 20 applicant, Paris Visa office, we have sent our medical, CV, PCC, etc on Oct. 29 also. Our last updated is Medical have been received. sill waiting for PPR... I saw that some Jun applicants have received their passport request. hope to receive good news soon

no....no any verification is done till now...........don't know whats the reason of this delay

There is no fixed day for that. CAS gets updated even on weekend.

Application sent: 19 September 2014
Application received: 24 September 2014
Fee encashed: 3 December 2014 (CC)
PER received: 12 January 2015
