I know you can open a bank account with RBC for with immigration purposes. It is a restricted account where you can´t move the money out until you reach Canadian soil or you are formally rejected by CIC. Head to RBC website and look up for information because I don´t remember the exact details.

Sorry to say but please be prepared as the current processing time is 12 to 14 weeks because of the holiday season.

My finger prints have reached FBI on 26th Sep and I have have been charged on 25th Oct and as per my conversation with FBI cal center agent, my report was mailed just over the weekend (I guess 3rd of Jan, 14 weeks n 2 days :-X), my friend in US has not received it yet.
Also, FBI does mail the report using regular post and hence reaching India would add up another 2 weeks. If you can, please provide an friend's address in USA and have them mailed them to you in India.

My suggestion, please go through an FBI channeler in case you are a US citizen or GC holder. Their processing speed is way faster compared to FBI, CJIS division.

you can reach FBI at (304) 625-5590 to check the status of your reports.

Again, please plan accordingly. All the very best

Thanks for the details CanadaPRUser. Mine reached them on Dec 8th. I think it will be March by the time it reaches me and I gave India address.. may be I should call them and get it changed.

In my MR's request letter there is a point :

Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature Kindly provide us with updated Schedule A for your spouse: specifically Question 8 personal history for the period 2009/01 to 2009/07. This must be received at this office by: 2015/01/08

Could Experienced Guys Tell me is CIC here asking for primary applicant's schedule A too or its only for spouse.
I got confused because In above sentence Kindly, K is capital, and I believe its a second request they are making ? ???

It seems to me they are only asking Schedule A for your spouse. You have only two days to submit the documents so fill them asap.

Guys!!

Just got a call from my bank (ICICI Bank) that DD has been cleared on 29th Dec.
Was really worried considering that my app dated 2nd sept as per me was stated to be recd by cic on 20th Oct. I still am cautious regarding PER considering recent events. Will celebrate only once I receive PER.

Thanks to all forum members who believed in me even when I myself had given up hope. Wouldn't have been possible without the strength to sustain that you guys have given me. Don't want to take names as the list is endless and don't want to miss anyone even inadvertently.

Will update SS in the evening. My timelines as follows :

Noc : 1114
App recd date As per me : 2nd sept.
App recd date As per cic : 20th Oct.
DD encashment date : 29th Dec.

Congratulations! I pray the rest of the process go smoothly for you. You are such a good person, you continue to help people in the forum though you were unsure of the status of your own application. It showed how genuine you are not a fair weather member.

i applied for FSW on 1st dec and thn
Express entry and choose all provinces there..
my ques. is should i apply differently for nova scotia ???

If you get selected in express entry cic may nominate u a province and the basic ground for this scheme they want to equalize the density of population and in FSWP u are free to go anywhere other then Quebec, and in particular you want to go to Nova scotia you will go through pnp schemes hope it helps as required ;D

does it mean professional guys like engineers, doctors etc ?

it carries marks in EE; so need clarification please

Send out both to be on safer side. There is nothing wrong in sending out additional form.

i would like to say that my NOC 2132 is a skill level A and governed by APEGA in Alberta for license...so in this regard, would it qualify for 23 points ???
