What is the email id with which CIC will send PER email.... I am sep 19th applicant waiting for my PER email.. want to make sure that I don't miss CIC's email.

Normally it is IMM008- Generic Application Form but Its safe to send both of them.

I have a question which I asked on many forums but not satisfied with the answer. Please check my question and answer in detail.

I received email from LVO as per below,

Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.

Updated forms which are available on our website:
New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant
New Additional Family Information form IMM5406 for yourself and each family member over the age of 18


My Question is there two types of IMM008 forms i.e. IMM008-Schedule 3 , IMM008- Generic Application Form. Which of these form VO mean to say or I have to fill out both.

Fill both of the IMM008 Schedule 8 (i guess, economic classes) and generic application form also.........They will choose which one they want... or may be both....

DO NOT WRITE TO UR VISA OFFICE ABT THIS ITS A SIMPLE ISSUE>>> DO NOT INCREASE PROCESSING TIME OF UR APPLICATION just send both and other forms immediately

Experts any idea by when I can have my MR as I am July 7th applicant for 2173 NDVO and I can see in the spreadsheet that second line update is been done for 14, 19, 15, 27 July and not even a single applicant for July 7th any idea whats going on?ANYONE FROM JULY 7TH APPLICANT GOT SECOND LINE UPDATED??? There is a little confusion

According to my consultant, VO will only and only start the process (like employment verification, security and criminality checks) after the second line updation . . . . is it true ?

My only concern is the employment verification. I need to remind my ex employers that they may receive any verification call. I had planned to do so after the second line updation.

Should I inform them before 2nd line updation ?

Please suggest . . .

Hi its clear......

When they update second line they will actually start processing.....

2 line (without third line decision made) means u passed eligibility.... both minimum requirement and 67 points..

Now, after second line, though u passed eligibility, a officer may have questions about three things
1) some of ur documents could be suspicious to the officer (like exact match of job description) then the officer will ask the other officer for second review
2) may be they wanna do ur employer verification... then they will go for background checks
3)officer can have questions about ur abilities or need clarification about something from u..... INTERVIEW CALL

AT THIS STAGE, 2nd line and no third line decision made, they cannot reject u directly.... they must give u an opportunity to explain ur self or to provide further proof of docs....

If an applicant successfully finishes this stage.... eligibility pass........


Now MR....

So time between 2nd line and MR is the time they MAY perform ur employer check... if and only if they want to...

Hello all,

I will be on a longer trip to Germany next month and I expect to receive the MR by Hong Kong VO during that time. Is it possible to do the medical examination in Germany when the responsible VO is in Hong Kong?

If so, does anyone know how it impacts the processing times? Will the examination results be sent via postal service from Germany to HK or exclusively transmitted online?

Any help would be appreciated. If somebody has a link or a MR email that gives additional info on that, I would be happy if you share that.

My wife is the PA under NOC 4214 (Early Childhood Teacher). Her school does not issue Pay Slips. The salary is disbursed in Cash against signing the Cash Vouchers. We have already submitted the Reference Letter from the School in original, copies of Appointment Letter, Confirmation Letter and Job Card with the application. Question is, what if VO asks for Pay Slips, what should be our best bet?

I would like to inform you about the verification done by he NDVO. Last year my friend applied FSW2013 and she got physical verification by NDVO after medicals.

As per my views they can do verification anytime. Its upto the NDVO i think........

Its more than 3 months since I am done with MR & my 3rd line was updated as well but I have not heard anything from LVO ???

Last week I sent a CSE through their website and worst thing is that I did not received any auto response that LVO has received my enquiry?
