My FSW'14 application is already in NDVO, My timeline at LH & also at bottom. I've a query in EE, I am going to submit b4 that have a query..

Under Education
------------------
1) There is no option for Engg (BE) - I selected 'Others' (Options available as Science - General, Wat to select for Engineering degree)
2) Also I've completed DME - For that I selected - 'Trades/Vocational' - Is it right.
3) There is one question for 'This is my current study' - I marked 'NO' As I've completed all education b4 10yrs

Under Experience
--------------------
1) Wen u qualified to practice this profession - 'Which date to mark' I completed that NOC in year 2011. I didn't get approval from any Canada body. If we are not selecting this date, its showing not completed (no green tick mark).
I've simply selected end period of that service, so its showing green and completed.

I have applied for noc 2133 in december i am not sure of my selection but I wanted to know about something ?
I selected toronto as the city I will immingrate if I got selected .Later I realised Other provinces were better so If I got selected and got PER then can I change my destination?

Dont go for any renewal process till you receive your Visa, otherwise you will need to submit some further declaration regarding new passport.
once you got your visa then apply for new passport

refer section 13.15 of ENF 4 in this link

You can travel with two passport, one with valid visa on cancelled or expired passport and 2nd valid passport (Both passport need to be of same country and same type, i.e both Indian/both Diplomatic/both official/both normal)
And dont worry, your now passport will also contain the vital details like Old passport Number, date & place of issue and passport file file number

SAME HERE , I am not working at all in my current job and have become despo and tensed , always check ecas 1 hour interval including saturday ... i dont know when we will receive PPR . as there are many things pending which i need to clear before i leave india...........

R u applying for express entry as well?? Is it safe to apply if u have already applied under FSWP. Moreover ur documents will be with CIC or LVO. Then how will u manage ??

Yes i av applied under fswp too...there is no info dat rstrict u from applying for both. it is very safe. whichever comes through is the one u will follow the processing. U can always tell cic to cancel one application for another. tanx

Hi People,

Please help me with the below situation. I am currently awaiting PPR from NDVO(Medicals have been received, timelines in side bar). My passport expires on 02nd Jan 2017. I have 2 years left in the validity. Now If my application is successful, I am planning to land by September 2015. That leaves me until June 2016 to renew the passport(6 months prior to expiry). I would prefer to renew the passport in the home country then doing it in canada.

Is it possible to get the visa on the existing passport post which I renew the passport. I read that the validity of the visa is one year from medicals or till passport expiry whichever is earlier. In this case will the visa on the old passport be valid. My brother had his H1B visa on an old passport and while travelling he just used to carry both the passports. Is this applicable for the canada visa too.

I do not want to get into the hassle of applying for a new passport now. For some reason if the police checks get delayed, it would simply cause a panic situation.

Advise will be appreciated

Get your passport renewed after visa is being is stamped. Getting new passport won't invalidate the visa. Only thing is that you have to staple/carry both the passports.

Please help. What is a UCI?when will i get that? My application under fswp was received on 15/12/2014. Now I want to apply for express entry. If I am applying for express entry then if they ask me whether I have applied previously what should I do?

UCI - unique Client Identification. U can apply for EE, just respond YES if u are asked.

If i have to submit passports in vfs delhi...and if my spouse cannot come with me....is it possible that i can submit my spouse passport or he has to b present himself...if i can submit his passport...do i need any document for dat...like authorization letter....

one more query....after gettin PPR....can i use the funds which i showed in my bank account....or i need to wait till i get passport stamped ??? ??? ???

If you are principal applicant, you don't need to take your dependent.

Yes..u are right. I is better to send both degrees. I sent both degrees and got my assessment. It costs u nothing. the same fee for any no of degrees/certificates

Hi. u can land and live anywhere in canada but u cannot live in Quebec cos dey av their own mimigration system and u av to get selected by the province of Quebec. whatever it is, u are good to go.
