X-Rays can be done on pregnant woman, with protective covering (lead plates) against the baby, with consent of the to-be parents. However, it has its own risk albeit, very minimal with high quality latest machines. Ask your doctor abt risks associated with available X-ray machine.

My advise, wait.... y risk the baby... but if u still decide to go with it, use double protective gear .... usually each hospital has 1 protective gear, borrow second from another hospital to be extra safe.

On a lighter note, how HER DEPENDENT can be pregnant?

If any applicant or his/her dependent is pregnant, you should inform your visa office and also the chosen medical centre before going for medical tests.

They will not do certain tests such as X Rays on pregnant woman.

In the outset I want to wish "A Very Happy New Year To All my Brothers & Sisters" . . . . and Thank You so much for your guidance that has helped me to reach at this stage . . . . .

I have a query that has given me stress over the past few days . . . .

I got married on 06/12/2014 and sent my RPRF on 15/12/2014 . . . . But I didn't informed CIC regarding my marriage . . . . The reason was being occupied with work and time was too little to send all her documents . . . .

Now, how do I inform CIC at this stage . . . . I need advice . . . . Shall I tell that "I was busy" or shall I say that "My wife doesn't want me to join in Canada at the moment b'cos she is focusing on her career in India" ...... or shall I say "Due to financial constraints" ...

I really need your advice and suggestion . . . .

Well you definitely can inform the NDVO stating your timeline of marriage. You can inform them which is true, that you had little time to gather documents for her & you can ask them what steps should be done by you now. Definitely NDVO will let you know what to do.

Guys,

did my medicals today, NDVO....gave the blood and urine samples followed by x-ray and general check up......my BP showed a bit on the higher side...130/90...although remarked as normal....is it something to worry...?
