Hello all,

I have a question regarding police certificates. It will be less than six months that I would have stayed in the US on Feb 16, 2015 in the last ten years. FBI certificates take around more than four months to come back. Do you think if they ask me for the police certificate later than that date i.e. Feb 16, 2015 I would not be required to send the US police certificate.

#1 - it doesn't take more than 4 months to get a FBI PCC. it took me about 2.5 months

#2 - it says you only need to apply for a PCC if you've stayed in the country for 6-months consecutively after the age of 18. If you haven't stayed there for 6-months consecutively, then you don't need to apply for a PCC.

For example: If you've been to USA 4 times and each time less than 6 months > don't need a PCC

Hello Everyone,

I am seeking an urgent guidance on the following matter:

I have applied under FSW'2014 in the month of September'2013. CIC received my application on Sep-08.

As i am already in Canada so have applied applied for Bridge Open Work Permit(BOWP) but unfortunately didn't get through as PER email received(Dec-23) after the BOWP application refusal(Dec-17), So that chapter is over now.

However I am in restoration process, so my question is that Will CIC will change my Visa Office(VO) from CPC-Ottawa to my origin country automatically, once the visa officer will notice my status in their internal system? or if i get the visitor status here will that help me to continue CPC-Ottawa as my VO?

I do not want to change my VO at any cost.

Please suggest! Appreciate your valuable time!!

Eh? Do medicals - how long have you been studying? I thought you've done medicals for your student visa less than a year ago

Individually no. But if everybody start raising CSE, then officers have to spent time on responding query then processing. In this sense, overall processing will be delayed. CIC generally discourage sending query unless processing time limit is exceeded (22 months for NDVO ).

Lol..just 8 months elapsed ..have to wait another 14 months before raising CSE Any way thanks for the reply

So far only single line is updated in ECAS. By when should I be expecting next update/ MR etc ?

I will just comply with the request :

The request usually asks to undergo medical or to provide proof of completed medical. It's valid for one year, remember?

I got my second line added on 21st nov.. Got medical, pcc n rprf request on 27th nov..
However my husband was travelling so we submitted complete family medicals on 17th dec n my third line got added on 24th dec...

I n my baby got my medicals done on 8th dec n my hubby got done on 15th dec n den we couriered all d docs on 17th delivered on 18th dec.

Need advice concerning my case, I did send my file and it was received by CIC on 31st of October 2014, today I received back my returned file with letter stating that I didn't complete ((Schedule A: Background Declaration/Schedule)) for my spouse..

Of course I will re submit my complete application again.. But my questions are:
1- Does this returned files will affect my next application..???
2- I noticed that they wrote (UCI #) on one of my application, shall I write in the new application or not..????

Please help me with this issue as I'm totally confused..

i have a different question based above incident. does it mean that all apps are reviewed for completeness till oct 31st? asking this, as one of my app with noc is 2171 with recieve date as oct 30. can i consider my app with noc 2171 within cap?
