I would like to thank everyone on here as this forum has helped me tons over the last 70 days. As I started my process first week of October, received Police certs for Uk by 20 nov, WES ECA by 2 dec and IELTS result on 19 dec and work experience docs from my manager on 22 dec and application sent on dec 22 as well.

My first post on this thread or any thread for that matter. Thanx Guys.

One question though:

There was no option for visa office on Generic form IMM008? should I be worried.

So finally "khabar" of your "Piyar(PER)" has reached you as a gift of end of the year 2014.

Being in the same NOC-0113 as yours, what I can understand that it was merely a misconception/misunderstanding that CIO is treating applictionas of the NOCs starting with '0' in a "special manner" and that is why CIO is taking a longer time ! Which I think is not true ? If someone has some evidence contrary to that with source of information please share it because it might be helpful for me and others who have applied for this categories of NOCs.

I just made an anlysis of your case which took around 133-days after receipt of application.

Whereas the average number of days as per the Spreadsheet of this forum it takes around 111-days for the PER to be issued after receipt of the application. So there is a difference of 22-days.

Thanks dear.......Its finally received...what a releif.....I was making up my mind that my application is on the way back.....But GOD is great.....
I have also read on the Forum that the NOC starting with '0' gets special screening and therefore deelay in processing.......However, in my case the reason for delay might be because of CIC was unable to see my ECA reports online......WES contacted me stating that they have been contacted by CIC and I should get my package updated which I did and got my PER after 7 days from date of updation of my WES package.......

Actually, I had already sent a cover letter today explaining that issue with the forms corrected upon the advice of Optimist333 . But I ordered the courier service to return my envelope after many have warned me that It would delay greatly my file and may even cause rejection!, Some told me that there is no need to tell them now as there is neither refusal stamp on the passport nor a refusal letter refuting that the CIC may care about other countries VISA rejection . Others suggested to wait until getting the PER so that I can contact with the V.O. after knowing it exactly. Since I discovered this mistake, I got worried and worried by time !

I think that what most of the forum memebers have advised you is right that there is no need to inform about the visa refusal. Because I did not see throughout the application forms and the "CIC official guide 7000 for filling these forms" that we should mention if we have applied for visa for some other country and got rejected. For example in mine case I applied for visa in 2002 to UK but they refused to grant me visit visa because they said that I don't have sufficient funds in my bank account, but of course there is not stamp on my passport then there is not need to worry at all. CIC will not care about these types of tries to get visa.

I have sent my second application package via UPS (upon advice from forum members) and it is dispatched from Doha, Qatar on 18th December but I don't know that why it is still showing status that departed from operations facilitiy from Dubai since yesterday and even today it did not reach to Canada!

Whether it is already in Canada? And because of holidays in Canada it is till lying at airport office of UPS and did not mover from there?

What do you think that my second application will be delivered within this week to CIO,Sydney NS?

I analyzed the spreadsheet the other day, and computed PER time vs NOC category. As you can see, the PER time depends, for whatever reason, on the NOC category currently. But there doesn't appear to be any notable difference between the "0" NOCs and the others.

I have submitted FSW application within Canada in last week of May 2014, and in August 2014, CIC ask for our original birth certificate and after then I never heard from CIC yet.

What should I do?

Any help will be really appreciated.
