Dear all,

A question for ECA:

I have done Masters in Computers and My ECA has been completed, the report says:

"Canadian Equivalency Summary

Bachelor's degree (three years) and master's degree"

I was looking for the Document Checklist for Master Degree points and it says "CIC only accepts as an entry-to practice professional degree, those degrees issued in relation to an occupation listed at NOC Skill level A and for which licensing by a provincial regulatory body is required."

I am confused what are the Point for my Master degree...? 23 or 22 or 21 or 19....!

Hello everyone,

One of my friend intends to file in application in fsw 14. All his docs are ready however he is awaiting for his ielts results which is expected to come on 26th Dec.

Now please advice if he should send the application now without ielts result and later send his ielts result with along with a letter to accommodate the missing result in the initial application.
or he should send it together which is unlikely to reach via dhl or fedex by 31st December

The only way to meet up is to send it from within Canada. If you can get somebody traveling to Canada in the evening of 26th Dec and he/she can send it through Express Courier on the 27th from within CA, you can make it. I don't believe in the word IMPOSSIBLE. though, it might be difficult but it is possible. Check with some airlines in your locality. The risk is worth taking.

I understand that 330 is under 483. I think in simple words we can say that 330 has passed completion check but not given PER yet.
Total 483 = 330 (Passed completion check ) + 153 given PER

Need to verify this thing ... this is just my interpretation.

considering only this NOC 4011 your statement is logical because in previous update NOC 4011 was 357 (26 Nov) and if we say it has become 483+330 it is not logical, but there is one point: how do you justify the capped NOCs like 2174 (992+8=1000) , if your statement is correct then means CIC is reporting capped NOCs in different way otherwise for a NOC like 2174 it means that 8 is under 992 so there is space for another 8 application, they why would CIC announced it as capped?

guyz i got a reply from london visa office as i have filled their case specific inquiry form available at cic website they replied me that it has been determined that an interview is required.
You will be advised of date and location once an interview has been scheduled. This may take some months.
but my question is that there is no update on my ecas except app received on 14 may.
are they have completed processing stage?
any other london visa office applicant received interview request yet???
please help me fellow members

Bro there is nothing as minimum money..take whatever you think will be enough..but make sure you announce that to customs whatever you are taking...
amount of money does not matter, what matters is you announce it to customs.. check canada customs for new immigrants details...

Can anyone confirm how much money should I bring to Canada as minimum amount in CAD? My family size is 3, the fund requirement is 18000 CAD.. Is that so, I need to bring minimum 18000 CAD and the customs will count this minimum 18000 CAD? If I want to bring 10000 CAD, CBSA can deport me? Can you guyz confirm?

As we all know, CIC has already updated the CAP page and for the first time provided lil better insight into the status of apps.
In my personal opinion, it carries lot of good news for some of the applicants (whose CC has been charged but PER is pending), as full 1,000 PER for NON OF THE NOC HAS ACTUALLY been ISSUED. Here is the summary of previous discussion on the topic.

1. The CAP reached column or previous “apps received column”, is the count of applications deemed complete. It is JUST AN INDICATOR that NO NEED TO SEND MORE APPS in THIS CATEGORY.

2. “Number of Applications counted towards the 1,000 sub-cap” are the ones for which PER has been issued.

3. Pending Applications are the ones for which ELEIBILITY REVIEW has not been completed and PER is pending but CC has been charged. (I think mainly because resources are busy in other tasks). The comforting factor is that PER for good number of apps is pending i.e. you guys are not alone. The delay is due to procedural/resource constraints rather than problem in ur app as there cannot be so many apps with issues.

(My personal guess) If you guys remember, the NOC's with highest # of pending apps are the ones for which (previous count of ) CAP increased to 1,000 in a matter of few days, without corresponding increase in CC charging (as reported on the forum). Therefore, I think PENDING APPS may also include some apps for which CC has not been charged.

Shah, a small addition, "pending for MI Acceptance review" also contain apps where completeness check is done but not yet charged.
