DD encasged : Nov 3
PER : Nov 17th.

Email sent : Oct 27th
Email replied : Dec 17

I've been a silent member for a while & only because whatever info I needed, it was already discussed & shared!!!

Getting bit tensed now as generally people are getting 3rd line update in 10 to 12 days
I completed my Medicals on 2nd December, I am still awaiting for 3rd line update that is medical received.
I contacted the hospital and they told me that they have submitted the report (which is ok) to NDVO before a week.
When can I expect 3rd line update?

Buddy chill u r not alone... I have done meds on 22nd Nov and still waiting for the 3rd line though i already know from the doc that my medical was completely perfect with Group A clearance... when did you send your RPRF and Med reciept to the VO???

hi even My application was received on 10th Sept, NOC-4011, CC-Mode of payment and no news till date AT ALL...
I have asked forum people three times and I am posting this fourth time but no advise from anyone.
I guess just need to be patient ,,,,What else I can say,,,but really worried

cc charged- 23rd Nov
PER rec- 16th Dec
VO- NDVO

Need your advice

1) I am planning to apply for PCC this month. The issue i am facing is that my wife's passport has details prior to our marrige. My question is that should we get the PCC on the old address or first get the address changed in the passport.

2) PCC from local PSK work?

3) checked my status- it show 'in process'- what will be the second line?

Therefore I believe it is safe to assume applicants who have received PER before Nov 17th probably have their files transferred to NDVO.

Just an educated guess.

Hello Friends,

I have question regarding RPRF fees. I am from New Delhi and i went to HDFC bank to get my DD done. I asked to make a DD in INR, which is payable in New Delhi. They said, they issue DDs only for outstation payable, So, they have issued a Manager's cheque. The bank has assured me that it one and the same thing. Since, the bank is in delhi, they issue manager's cheque for New Delhi payable amouts. But i am a little concerened

I checked the the CIC website and this is what it says 'Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment.' Is a Manager's cheque same as 'Certified cheque'. Anybody in a similar situation?

Managers cheque and Demand draft are basically the same (local and outstation). Don't worry. (And I am a banker).
