It strikes me that CIO let you without POF though :o

this is very possible, like I always say...each person's case is different and CIO/VO's discretion for every case is different...He might be considered based on the fact that the workpermit is there (like I said, each person's case is different);)

Thank you so much for quick response. While submitting my application I requested to exempt me from POF, since I am already working in Canada with work permit. I received my PER in Oct and thought they wouldn't ask for POF their after. But CO has come back asking for it. Anyhow I am luck, at least CO requested for missing document without rejecting my application.

What kind of work permit? Was it obtained via LMIA/LMO (closed WP)...if yes, then you would be be considered under arranged employment and most likely do not need to show proof of funds...but if your work permit was obtained as "open work permit (e.g PGWP,OWP etc) then you would be asked for POF for sure....I would suggest you should send bank print out page that contain your fullname, date you opened account, account balance and address,,,get the bank to also sign, stamp and date it.
I have learnt from years of experience that one must not disclose much info n also do not disclose less;)

Don't worry amit...It seems they are gong slow in our NOC..However, I was lucky to get the UCI No. from Call Center.

But still waiting for PER :o :o

Be patient man lol, PER can be sent anytime, from 3days to more than 30days sometimes, it depends on the rate at which they are moving and handling cases....for sure nobody fully knows how CIC works...keep it real dude and be +ve

Would you personally risk lodging application with no POF?

NOC applied: 2172
App recd date: Dec 11, 2014

Do you think I will be in the cap?
Would really appreciate a logical response.

Good question bro, I wouldn't risk it BUT I am also in Canada and I can risk it provided I do not have the required minimum - for example, as a single I need to show $11,824 and only have $8,000. In this case I would include all my employment salary slips, include my workpermit, work letter & all other docs like tax returns to back it up. Sometimes you can be lucky and it can be overlooked at the CIO/VO level (at his or her discretion)..If he or she requires additional docs, the VO would contact you after AOR (an example is this rare case we just read):).

With God, all things are possible.

Received Medical Request today....very excited. ;D

Wrong Information brother
(1) UCI is allotted to all individual without any AGE bar (Even if somebody as old as one year travels to Canada he/She is allotted a UCI).
(2) All individuals have a unique UCI.
(3) If the person's your spouse or Kids have travelled with him, their UCI will be written on VISA itself, If He have previously applied for FSW and unfortunately package was returned, the UCI specified in documents pertains to HIM you (No UCI alloted to additional family members in this case)

Please try to give authentic information in FORUM !
thanks

I don't know where you are. I am in Canada on study visa, my wife was given UCI but my 2 kids were not given so I am talking from experience. I have renewed our visa twice before submitting PR application in these 3 occasion including application for PR my children do not have UCI. I am not giving out false info.

Rest your mind Mr Steve lol, This cap isn't moving as fast as others (caps: 172 intakes) I believe you should make it provided all documents are intact and complete enough for it to pass the completeness check stage...like I said, relax n concentrated on other things and wait for the first communication from CIO which is your CC/DD fee debit (if passed)

Best regards...
