They will always avoid giving you the Uci. Happened with me many times. But try to convince them why Uci is so important to you. Some call centre exec will finally relent some day. I was trying for the last 1 month.

I was lucky to get it on second try.. First time agent agreed and took my info but then told me there is no data currently in the system. Next day i called again and got it.

No, you are not required to provide CIO with her documents if you are not claiming adaptability points. But you need to mention her in imm 5406

Yes I am doing that. Whether it will hamper my application for not declaring her as a Canadian citizen?

congrats. I guess they have become a bit more cooperative now. I had called up 4 days back and even then the exec tried to check for status but said that there is no data by my name in the system. Yesterday again I tried and I got the details from the exec. Earlier they used to just say that they do not have access to the system and avoided even checking for Uci.

Good time to try getting the Uci perhaps.!!

I am about to courier the documents ( RPRF receipt, PCC and Passport Bio pages Photocopy ) to NDVO.

Hi,

No you did not send your docs to the wrong place.

You just need to forget this for the next 70-80 days. Hopefully if the package is complete and there are no issues with the contents - they will charge your CC or DD in 60-90 days.

POst which the file will be transferred to your local VO. It will take another 45-60 days before the local VO starts processing.

If all checks go well- they will send you a MR request along with some other documents that they might need. At this stage you need to submit the documents to the VO.

Post your medicals you can expect a visa within 3-4 months( but no1 knows for sure yet)!!

Hi guys..m new here n jus wana share my restlessness as i appled in may n got my file nmbr in sept n medicals in now17th..waiting for my passport request..as it say medicals received..how much time do they usually take n is thr any risk now??

We are all in the same boat- Meds done 6th November- Don't know when the PPR will arrive.

Its a long waiting game!!
