I am filling generic application form IMM0008 and have a doubt:

I am pursuing Master of Technology (2012-2014) and i have ECA for only Bachelor of Technology (passed in year 2008) as i don't want to apply on Master degree basis. Because it is not completed yet (Thesis pending).

What to fill in box 'Highest level of Education' ('Bachelor's degree' or 'post graduate-no degree') ?
if Bachelor's degree then, should i count 2 years of Master degree while filling column 'number of year of education in total' ?

I received my PER on 12 nov,but inot able to check my application status.

error i received on page:

If your PG result has been announced and you have got either marksheets or degree then you should enter PG, otherwise in my opinion your highest degree will be Bachelor's only

Yes.. Due to hold on issuing PPRs our planning is stuck...
If this is hard and fast rule that one need to land after one year of Medical then they should not have issue MRs.. or should have issued MR and PPR at one go.. similar to SGVO..
Also I don't agree with few forumities points that the delay is due to Security Checks or backlog of 2013.. We can see more and more MRs issued for 2014 than PPR issued for 2013..
There are few forumities who are waiting since 90 days..background check for all should not take this much of time..And also we have 2 exceptions.. Did they not do background checks for those 2 or there background check got cleared in just 2 weeks while others are taking months..

from experience I can say this that they will let you know at the time of visa stamping that you need to land in Canada before medical expires or you need to retake medical and you will have one year again to plan your landing..

Dear Seniors,

An urgent question...

Has anyone of you successfully called the Visa office and speaked to your VO? I've submmitted my passport for visa stamping for over a month. Now I need to borrow my passport back for travelling. Have sent two enqueries from CIC's website, but got no reponse. Want to call the Hong Kong Visa office tomorrow. But not sure if they can let me speak to my VO....BTW, anyone knows how to find our the VO that is handling my case?

Yes iam from NDVO which document are required for PCC from Passport office any letter from Visa office.
