The entire process is stressful. After getting your CC charged then comes the waiting for PER, then the MR and so on.... :D

Even the process which you need to follow after landing is also stressful! :P (like finding a decent job and buying a house!) 8)
;D
Stress and struggle are inevitable part of routine life when one decides to migrate overseas! :o

But the joy and satisfaction when you achieve your goals are priceless too! :D

I had the mistake with my travel info form...
My 2nd line in ECAS already updated
My VO CPC-O
Do you guys think I need to update the new travel info...If yes, then how?
Can anyone please share CPC-O case specific Enquiry link...
Thanks!

Use this CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca e-mail to ask CPC-O about a Permanent Resident case.

Send Amended form along with cover letter mentioning reason for sending amended Travel form. Send it all to above mentioned email. You might receive automated acknowledgement & you might not. If you don't receive it don't panic.

DO NOT SEND IT MORE THAN ONCE.

Looks like they will start issuing PPR from Jan. 2015 now. Just a guess as no activity from Ottawa for PPR under any program.

P.S. Not being pessimist. Hope you receive PPR soon.
:)
NVDO is issuing PPRs and so are other VOs.
I wish they start issuing them this week.
Thanks for your wishes.

I am a prospect from India applying for FSW Program 2014.

I am unclear about point calculation against my work experience. Below are the details about my employment and the period.

Employment 1

Designation: Production Manager in Rubber Products manufacturing
Duration: April,2010- May,2013 (Production Manager)
July,2008- March,2010 (Production Executive)

NOC- 0911

Employment 2

Designation: Sales Manager Insurance
Duration: June,2013-Present

NOC-0121

I am a Commerce Gratuate from Delhi University(Regular). I intend to apply under NOC 0121 as Sales Manager Insurance for which i have full 1 year continuous experience which makes me eligible. However, i would like to understand if my previous work experience in Rubber Factory as Production Manager would account for total calculation of points against my work experience. Pls guide me on this factor and share how many point would i get for my work experience.

Yes points are awarded for total number of years you've worked, in any position not just the one you've selected for FSW.

It is obvious that people will change positions during their career, it doesn't wipe their previous experience out.

If you want to apply, you better hurry up because during Christmas, due holidays as well as to extreme weather conditions deliveries could get severely delayed, to be on safer side I would suggest applying thru fastest courier option and on or before 16th of December.

Good luck!

I m loosing my patience day by day....for PPR from NDVO.

HI

Is NDVO actually issuing PR request. I thought they are on a break and PPR are expected next year. I do not see any details on the sharepoint. I wonder what is the process that takes so long post medical for PPR.

I got my UCI # from call center now but ecas doesnt show anything.. My cc was charged on 23rd nov.

Guys, should i be worried now?

Diplomatru,
Whats going on with Ottawa regarding PPR? :o

Look, these emails that we receive are just tip of the iceberg. VO doesn't do any checks during security stage, but they depend on third parties. During security check there are like 6 authorities that need to submit information to the adjudicator, and each time she/he receives some new information she/he updates GCMS entry. Once they receive all emails, they update CAS with DM.

So it is not about Ottawa or other VO being fast or not on the post MR stage. Their partners at other departments can have a hard time with managing the requests from all VOs.
