Hi Folks,

My Consultant told me today that the process of PPR will be delayed as CIC is focusing on Express Entry...Looks like NDVO will only start issuing PPR after Jan 2015.

We got an appointment by 1.30 PM yesterday. We went by 1.15 and asked to pay the fees. First they took X-Ray for me and my spouse then went for doctor consultation. Doctor asked about the previous medical history (me and spouse) and check the height, weight, BP and EYE test (Simply ask to read alphabets by closing one eye and vice-versa). Then went for blood and urine test. At last they said if they found any abnormal things (in X-Ray, Blood and Urine) they will give a call to us today.(Till now no calls and praying for the same ;D ;D ;D) For my son (3 years old) just a check-up.
They said will upload the test results within 5 days.

Sounds quite easy. But how you showed your medical history? You just explained your medical status or showed your medical card form a hospital? How does it work?

I received my WES report yesterday. I have been granted "Secondary School diploma and two years of professional studies".

How much points should I get for this?

Incorrect info and logic by consultant.

If anything will happen, Local VO's will try to clear the entire backlog so that EE is dealt with freshness.

A maximum of 25 points shall be awarded for a federal skilled worker’s education as follows:

LEVEL OF EDUCATION POINTS
University Degree at the Doctoral Level (PhD) 25
University Degree at the Masters Level or Professional Degree 23
Two or more Post-Secondary Credential, one of which needs to be at least a three-year post-secondary credential 22
Post-Secondary Credential for a program of at least three years 21
Post-Secondary Credential for a program of at least two years 19
Post-Secondary Credential for a program of at least one year 15
Completion of secondary school 5

You should at least get 19 points I feel.

Hi Seniors,

My friend has to submit his PCC from India and Malaysia, and deadline is 4th Jan. Seems Malaysia will take 2 months to issue PCC. Does anyone have got the PCC from Malaysia, how long will it take? In the worst case will NDVO extend the deadline for PCC submission?
