Dear friends,

I have received my request for PCC, medical and RPRF. However, I recently realized that I have mistakenly mentioned "NO" to 6D "Schedule A", whereas I was refused a US visa 2 years ago. I totally mentioned "NO" inadvertently/by mistake as I missed that 6D mentions other countries as well.

Is there a way out to the situation now? I feel like writing an email to LVO, apologize on mistake and request them to allow me to send new Schedule A along with PCCs and RPRF. Will that be successful?

Please advise and also please share if anyone has experienced similar situation and come out of it successfully and what did they do?

Anxiously waiting for your kind responses.

Thanks,
Sully

I have a question,
If the application fails the initial review are you emailed or you have to wait until the package returns via snail mail?
Was your CC or DD charged prior to the receipt of the NER?

I'm not sure if this question has already been discussed here, but I wonder if the first Express Entry draw will slow down our local VOs. Will FSW applicants have less priority than "high quality" EE applicants? Will we be getting pushed back in line after each draw? What do you guys think? :-X

Good News - Received my MR after 80 days of looooooooooooong wait..........Smiley

NDVO has started working ...Smiley

they have requested for my passport photocopies (only front and back Bio pages) for all - Do I need to send them when I send RPRF receipt???? Yes
There is no PCC requested as I submitted with original application.

Seniors
Please advise how and when to communicate NDVO as my wife is expecting a baby which is due in Februrary.
Please note: A change in your family composition may affect the processing requirements and processing time for your application. If you have, or anticipate having, a change in family composition (for example, marriage, divorce or expecting a child) you need to advise the visa office as soon as possible of this change.

Go ahead with Medical Examination. Inform Physician that your wife is pregnant and X-ray for your wife will be kept on hold until delivery. After Birth of your child inform Local VO about adding your child to your application and they will send you list of documents that has to be submitted for your child, and will also sent your MR for your child, as soon as you submit it. Complete your child's & your spouse (only X-ray) Medical, and proceed from their on. Pay RPRF, send them all documents they requested before due date, and you will have nothing to worry about.

SS updated

Thanks

Send them amended forms along with Cover letter mention reason for sending amended forms along with your personal information. Apology letter no needed.

Hello, forum buddies! I have a question about the RPRF receipt. On the online receipt, where it says "Client ID", what do I have to write there? If the payer is not myself, what should be written in that field? Appreciate your help.

Client ID = UCI.

LittleOwl,

I have been thinking about this for some time now.
1. The number and type of applicants will not change because of the rule (not for the first year atleast as the new rules sink in)
2. What will change is the FIFO ("attempted" - might not have been really the norm) process.
3. From Pt 1 & 2 - everyone with a certain profile (clean records, good medicals, experience et. al.) was getting through earlier but there is still ample opportunity IF one only applies.

I dont have reason to believe its tougher. Try the points calculator Beta that they have put up on CanadaVisa.com. I was glad to see I got 434 points of 600. Moving to Canada is no longer ALL about applying in time - its all about preparation and profile-fits. Really, nothing much has actually changed.

Rick

@ Gregory,

Your situation is quite complicated... you may want to discuss it some Immigration Lawyer/ Consultant etc.

Also, keep one thing in mind.. they would require your PCC for your stay in US. so, Can you get the PCC from FBI if you are staying illegally in US ??

You have taken quite a chance putting all this up on the forum. I do hope you can survive any reports that might be done from here to the authorities. But then you claim, you have managed to stay undercover for 10 years (??) and have passports for your kids (!!) I am stupefied! You overstayed on a Tourist Visa?? Is that even possible?? :o :o :o :o

Question:
IF you wanted so badly to stay in the US that you did it illegally, with the reform, you have a chance to be permanently settled there - legally.
Why the change of heart and move to Canada when you are so close to your dream of over a decade.

Regards,
Rick
